🔮 Bears vs. Eagles prediction

Chicago pushes Philadelphia more than most teams have lately, largely because Caleb Williams’ off-script creation gives the Bears a way to manufacture explosive plays even against tight coverage. DJ Moore and Rome Odunze both win on crossers off play-action, and Chicago hits enough early-down success to avoid the negative scripts that have plagued them. But protection remains the limiting factor — the Eagles’ front generates interior pressure that forces Williams into rushed throws, and that turnover risk is baked into the projection.

On the other side, Jalen Hurts gets a favorable matchup against a Bears defense that has struggled to defend layered passing concepts and has given up chunk gains out of trips looks. With Saquon Barkley keeping the second level honest, Philadelphia can lean on quick-game rhythm, RPO slants, and intermediate shots to A.J. Brown. The difference over four quarters is drive consistency: the Eagles string together more sustained possessions and finish better in the red zone. Chicago stays within one score, but Philadelphia’s balance and situational execution remain the deciding edge.

Score prediction: Eagles 27, Bears 24

💰 Best Bears vs. Eagles player prop bet

See all of our experts' NFL picks based on the latest NFL odds.

⬆️ A.J. Brown Over 56.5 receiving yards

Brown profiles as the most reliable matchup advantage on the field, and our projection (6 receptions for 89 yards) puts him comfortably above this total. Chicago’s defense has struggled all season against physical boundary receivers, especially when asked to play man coverage behind pressure looks. Even when they rotate to two-high shells, their corners have been vulnerable in one-on-one coverage against elite X-receivers like Brown. With Barkley likely forcing lighter boxes and the Eagles leaning on early-down play-action, Brown should once again command a heavy target share.

The Bears also generate pressure inconsistently, which plays right into Philadelphia’s hands. When Hurts has time, the Eagles funnel their pass game through Brown on in-breakers and isolation shots, and Chicago has been one of the league’s most frequently targeted defenses between the numbers. Brown doesn’t need explosive plays to hit this over — steady volume and consistent separation against a secondary that struggles to finish at the catch point give him multiple paths to clearing this number. This is one of the cleanest edges on the board for this matchup.

Best bet: A.J. Brown Over 56.5 receiving yards (-114 via DraftKings)
