Christian McCaffrey has logged six or more receptions in 10 out of 15 games this season (66%) but is seeing plus-money odds on his prop from DraftKings for Sunday night. The long odds likely come from Chicago’s tendency to limit receiving production to running backs.
The Bears allow just 3.86 receptions per game to RBs. But with tight end George Kittle expected to this matchup, McCaffrey should see enough targets to buck that trend of the Chicago defense. Kittle’s potential absence could also leave a vacuum in the touchdown-scoring department for San Francisco, which has an implied team total around 28 points. Jauan Jennings has been a touchdown magnet in recent weeks, scoring in six of his last seven games.
Yet, Jennings is seeing plus-money odds to find the end zone against a Bears defense that has allowed the third-most receiving scores to wideouts this year (19).
