There's been a ton of buzz surrounding Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, though some of it is coming from those who are angry that the biggest music artist in the world is taking the stage in the middle of the biggest NFL game of the season. However, my Super Bowl halftime show predictions will argue that when it comes to entertainment, all press is good press.

Meanwhile, after Kendrick Lamar featured a grand total of zero (unscheduled) musical guests last year, will Bad Bunny do the opposite and welcome friends galore to the stage?

Of course, perhaps the hottest of the Super Bowl halftime show odds & props is the first song, as everyone wants to predict how the performance will begin. So, with that in mind, let's dive right in.

1️⃣ Super Bowl halftime show prediction: First song

Prediction market via Kalshi. You can use our Kalshi promo code for a $10 bonus by signing up today. Market subject to change. Kalshi isn't available in Canada.

Kalshi offers an endless list of songs for those looking to predict what Bad Bunny's halftime opener will be, with "Tití Me Preguntó" trading as a significant favorite.

Prediction: "Baile Inolvidable" (11% chance | +810 odds)

If you do buy the favorite, you'd earn roughly $6 for every $10 you invest in Yes if Bad Bunny opens his set with the song that features his eighth-most viewed music video on YouTube - all eight have been watched more than a billion times each.

However, if you think he'll start the show with something off his most recent album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, both "Baile Inolvidable" and "DTMF" have more than a billion streams on Spotify and are trading at significantly more favorable prices. If you buy Yes on the former, a $10 investment could lead to an $81 profit, while the latter is even more lucrative at $240 of profit for every $10 you trade.

This market is tricky for me, because you always think it'd make sense to start the show one way, and the producers go in an entirely different direction. But for my money, I'll buy Yes on "Baile Inolvidable" at Kalshi.

Our C Jackson Cowart is taking "Monaco" as part of his definitive Bad Bunny halftime show setlist.

🫂 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Guest performers

Prediction: Cardi B (59% chance | -143 odds)

As I mentioned above, Kendrick technically didn't have any guests, as SZA was announced as his co-headliner before the Super Bowl. However, we're seeing at Kalshi that numerous artists are priced as being highly likely to join Bad Bunny on stage.

Fellow Puerto Rican Tainy is the favorite among those options at a 67% likelihood (or -167 odds), as he produced Bad Bunny's massive hit, "Callaíta." Joining Tainy atop Kalshi's list of potential guests are Ricky Martin and Cardi B, who both return $7 in profit on a $10 successful buy on Yes.

I know it doesn't feel great to get only a $7 return on $10, but this is still a great price on Cardi B. I'd say she's much closer to having a 70% chance of performing alongside Bad Bunny, which would translate to odds of around -250 and a profit of only $4 on $10. Therefore, I'm happy to buy 17 contracts at 59 cents each.

🏆 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Total global viewers

This market can be found only at FanDuel Canada, but it's the lock of the century if you have access.

Our Sean Tomlinson broke down more of these Canada-only options in his Bad Bunny prop bet guide.

Over 135.5 million (-142)

First, and most importantly, Bad Bunny is quite literally the biggest artist on the planet. As was the case with Kendrick's performance last year, people who aren't watching the Super Bowl will tune in for the halftime show.

Secondly, there will absolutely be a large number of people who simply hate-watch the halftime show, so they can send out angry posts on X, Facebook, or to family members who are sick of them. Guess what, they still count toward the viewership.

Kendrick broke the viewership record last year at 133.5 million, surpassing Michael Jackson's 133.4 from 1993. Additionally, the third- and fourth-most watched halftime shows ever are Usher in 2024 and Rihanna in 2023. So, regardless of who's performing, we're seeing that people have been tuning in recently more than ever before. Combine that with the fact that Bad Bunny is, well, Bad Bunny, and this is going to soar Over 135.5 million.

🤠 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: What headwear will Bad Bunny wear for first song?

Cowboy hat (+900)

This one is also exclusive to FanDuel Canada, but it's too fun to not include.

There are plenty of options to choose from in this market, but FanDuel is getting a little tricky with its selections. It lists an aviator hat and a ski hat/beanie as two different options, despite the fact that I'd classify the former as a version of the latter. Therefore, we're ignoring the winterwear altogether and going with a cowboy hat.

If you've ever seen Bad Bunny in a cowboy hat, you know he wears the hell out of one. Also, it would be quite the statement for him to kick off his performance in headwear largely associated with "being American" while he faces criticism for apparently not being American enough to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl.
