A Monday Night Football doubleheader to close NFL Week 2 means a double dose of our anytime touchdown scorer predictions as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Houston Texans (7 p.m. ET), and the Las Vegas Raiders host the Los Angeles Chargers (10 p.m. ET).
Both games will be broadcast on ESPN, with the Texans (-2.5) and Chargers (-3.5) priced as betting favorites as we offer our NFL picks for both games.

π Best Buccaneers vs. Texans anytime touchdown scorer bets (7 p.m. ET)
Here are my favorite Buccaneers vs. Texans touchdown scorer picks based on the best NFL odds for Monday Night Football:
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers (+180) ββββ
Emeka Egbuka, the Buccaneers' 19th overall pick out of Ohio State, caught four of his six targets against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 and turned those into 67 yards and two touchdowns. None of those looks came inside the red zone, but he had a long of 30 and averaged 11.2 yards per target on the day.
The Texans gave up 10.52 yards per target in their season opener, while allowing 16 of 21 targets to wide receivers to be caught for 221 total yards.
Egbuka led Bucs receivers with 93% of the snaps played last week, and his standout debut should earn him more trust from coaches and QB Baker Mayfield.
Dare Ogunbowale, RB, Texans (+800) βββ
Though Dare Ogunbowale is second on the Texans' running back depth chart, he should continue to see the bulk of the work on passing downs with Nick Chubb handling the rushing load. Ogunbowale had two rushing attempts for nine yards last week but also caught both of his targets for an extra 17 yards in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The Buccaneers held the Falcons to 48 rushing yards on 22 attempts last week, but they surrendered six receptions, 100 yards, and a score to the position via the passing game.
While that production included an early 50-yard touchdown catch and run by Bijan Robinson, Ogunbowale should again have the chance to break a big play - or at least provide QB C.J. Stroud with another sorely needed option in the red zone.

π Best Chargers vs. Raiders anytime touchdown scorer bets (10 p.m. ET)
Here are my favorite Chargers vs. Raiders touchdown scorer picks based on the best NFL odds for Monday Night Football:
Tyler Conklin, TE, Chargers (+500) βββ
Tyler Conklin is second on the Chargers' tight end depth chart and played nine fewer snaps than Will Dissly last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he caught both of his targets for 50 yards.
The Raiders gave up five receptions and 76 yards to New England Patriots tight ends last week with an average of 8.44 yards per target.
I like him over Dissly as an added option alongside Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen, and Quentin Johnston in and outside of the red zone. The +500 odds for Conklin to score vs. the +600 odds for Dissly would agree.
Michael Mayer, TE, Raiders (+500) βββ
Raiders head coach Pete Carroll said he expects starting tight end Brock Bowers (knee) to play tonight after returning to practice on Saturday. After he played just 32 snaps last week and Michael Mayer caught all four of his targets for 38 yards, I'm not sure the Raiders will be featuring Bowers too heavily at something less than 100%.
Either way, the Raiders remain short on reliable pass-catchers. Mayer, a second-round pick three years ago, should have earned himself a little extra work with last week's performance.
