In my 49ers vs. Seahawks prediction, I'm backing the road betting underdog to keep things close at Lumen Field in Saturday's Divisional Round. 

The Seahawks are the early 7 or 7.5-point betting favorite, but I don't expect the latter number to last long. The 49ers' injury woes continued during Wild Card Weekend, with All-Pro tight end George Kittle tearing his Achilles tendon. While that will obviously hamper their chances of winning, which the spread reflects, I expect the latest significant blow to galvanize the collective.

49ers +7.5 (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Get this number while you still have the chance, as I can't see the 49ers remaining as the 7.5-point betting underdog for long.

While facing the Super Bowl odds betting favorite at Lumen Field represents a gargantuan task, especially after Kittle's injury, the 49ers are 8-2 ATS on the road, repeatedly proving they are the league's most resilient team. They defied the odds again, this time against the defending Super Bowl champion on the road. 

I expect the well-rested Seahawks to advance, but it won't be as easy as this spread suggests. Adversity brings out the best in some teams, and the 49ers are the best current case study.
