Though the 49ers have won both Mac Jones starts so far this year, he benefited from more weapons during each of those games against the inferior New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals. The Rams are 3-1 against the spread this season, tying Los Angeles for the best ATS mark leaguewide.
The well-rounded Rams rank in the top 12 in both points per game and scoring defense. Meanwhile, San Francisco’s offense sits 23rd in PPG, even with better health than it will get on Thursday.
FanDuel lists the spread at Rams -7.5, while DraftKings features the line at 8.5. Since our overall parlay odds only drop from +500 to +476 to take the better line on the spread, we’ll end up playing this SGP at FanDuel.

No team has allowed fewer receptions to running backs so far this season than the Rams (12), but that’s not going to matter in this matchup.
Christian McCaffrey will be the focal point of the Mac Jones-led offense, and his role in the receiving game has been substantial even in contests featuring both Jennings and Pearsall.
CMC has logged six-plus receptions in every game this season, twice reaching nine-plus catches. He tallied 10 receptions during the last game Jones started, and he'll be involved again through the air tonight. The Rams' eighth-ranked run defense could limit his production on the ground, too.
🚀 Demarcus Robinson Over 29.5 receiving yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Demarcus Robinson was suspended for the first three games of the season after signing a two-year contract in March.
He was set to be given a significant role, but it was clear San Francisco wanted to ease him back in after the suspension. But now the team won't enjoy the same luxury on Thursday given the attrition in its WR room.
Robinson has long been a deep-ball specialist and should get enough targets to clear this modest receiving line.
