Betting operator Fanatics Betting and Gaming has announced that its casino app, Fanatics Casino, will launch in four states.

One of the best sports betting sitesFanatics Betting and Gaming, has announced that its casino app, Fanatics Casino, will launch in four states, debuting an app available for both iOS and Android devices, with a web version to follow. 

The app will be live in Michigan sports bettingNew Jersey sports bettingWest Virginia sports betting, and Pennsylvania sports betting, and the web version will be available in the same four states at a later date, which was undisclosed. 

The launch will be marked with a sweepstakes competition for all Fanatics Casino customers, with a total $2 million prize pool and top weekly prizes of $25,000 throughout May and June. 

Introducing the cash drop sweepstakes

Players who download the app and sign up with Fanatics Casino can enter the Cash Drop sweepstakes competition by wagering $10 on their preferred casino games. This will grant them automatic entry into the promotion. 

Each Thursday during May and June, lucky winners' names will be drawn, and the prizes, up to a maximum of $25,000, will be added to their Fanatics account. The weekly prize pool is $250,000, and the prizes are paid in FanCash, the Fanatics Betting and Gaming virtual currency. FanCash can be exchanged for casino credit or bonus bets.  

A casino floor experience 

According to the Fanatics promo code, the Casino app was designed to replicate the casino floor experience that a player would encounter in a land-based setting. The app's casino lobby includes classic video slots, progressive jackpot slots, table games like blackjack and roulette, video poker, and live dealer games, which are hosted by dealers in game studios and streamed to iOS and Android devices in real time. 

The Fanatic Casino app also features exclusive games created by the Fanatics Game Studios, including Fanatics Blackjack, Multi-hand Blackjack, and Fanatics Fire Roulette. 

Other casino game developers featured on the Fanatics app are Light & Wonder, IGT PlayDigital, Evolved Live, Wazdan, and White Hat Studios.

The Fanatics expansion

Fanatics Betting and Gaming is part of global digital sports company Fanatics, and was launched in 2021 to capitalise on the expanding sports betting sector in the US. Since acquiring PointsBet in the fall of 2023, Fanatics’ share of the online sports betting market in the US has risen to around 5%. 

The Fanatics sportsbook product is now accessible in 95% of the legal US sports betting market, and Fanatics Betting and Gaming owns 22 retail sports venues, including the only sportsbook in an NFL stadium (Northwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders).

Online casino gaming is currently legal in seven US states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware sports betting, West Virginia, Connecticut sports betting, and Rhode Island sports betting. Five more are close to finalizing bills, while eleven more are in various stages of the legislative process. Fanatics Casino is not yet available in Rhode Island, Delaware, and Connecticut.
