Winthrop gets 24.4% of its points from the free throw line (18th-highest rate), and has the Big South's highest free throw rate (47.6%) in league play. The Eagles also shoot a better 3-point percentage in league play, and attempt threes at the 92nd-highest rate.

High Point has gotten off to fast starts lately, winning the first half in 10 of its last 11 games. While I wouldn't put anyone off backing its first half spread (-3.5) instead of the full game spread, I am expecting Winthrop to wear down late with a shorter rotation thanks to Duncomb's injury.
The Under is my best bet though, as each of High Point's last 17 conference tournament games have produced a total of 161 or fewer points. If Duncomb is ruled out completely, I would make the Under a two-unit play down to 162.5.
