Tennessee has alternated wins and losses over the last six games. But I'm also buying low on a Volunteers team that squandered a 17-point first-half lead in its last loss to Kentucky, especially since the Wildcats are the only team to win in Knoxville since February 2024.
Tennessee has had a week to stew over that loss, but the good news is Rick Barnes’ teams have performed well off extended rest. The Volunteers have covered 54.3% of their games on four-plus days of rest in Barnes’ tenure, and 55.6% of such games since 2023.
