No. 4 Michigan travels to Oregon for a Big Ten battle at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday in Knight Arena in Eugene, OR, on NBC. My Michigan vs. Oregon prediction suggests the Ducks can hang around in a game the Wolverines are favored by 20 points.
Michigan hasn’t defeated a team by more than 10 points in two weeks, which includes a surprising home loss to Wisconsin during that stretch.

It’s much easier to make the case for backing the best team in college basketball, but I think the market has been too aggressive in its belief in Michigan of late. The Wolverines haven’t covered a spread in three straight games, and they haven’t won by 20 in a road matchup all year.
The Wolverines have played four road games this season, with half of them coming in the past 11 days. They’ve only won by more than 10 in one of their four road meetings, as it’s difficult to blow an opponent out in their place.
It could prove to be even more difficult if Oregon manages to slow things down. The Ducks rank 229th in adjusted tempo. If this ends up being a lower-scoring matchup (the total is 157.5), I like the Ducks to stay within 20 points.
Score prediction: Michigan 87, Oregon 70
🔥 Best Michigan vs. Oregon player prop: Yaxel Lendeborg Under 21.5 points + rebounds (-111) ⭐⭐⭐
Michigan power forward Yaxel Lendeborg has been one of the top players in the college basketball season. But his production has fallen off a bit in recent weeks.
Lendeborg has only cleared 14 points once since Dec. 21, as he recorded 16 points on 10 shots against McNeese. He’s only finished with more than seven rebounds once over that span as well.
Given Oregon ranks fifth in average 2-point attempt distance and 34th in offensive rebounding, per KenPom, there is slight value on this Under for this combo line at FanDuel.
