Kansas is coming off an eight-point win over BYU, while Texas Tech lost as a favorite to UCF. But I am not overreacting to one game, especially since Jayhawks star Darryn Peterson again dealt with cramping issues and is playing on one day’s rest.
Kansas’ highly switchable defense came into the weekend ranked in the 96th percentile in isolations allowed and the 93rd percentile in post-ups allowed, per Synergy. But this is also a Texas Tech offense that used isolation basketball to torch a stout Houston defense for 90 points and 1.38 points per possession two games ago.

This O/U for Toppin remains high as he has scored 27-plus points in four of the last five games. While he scored 21 points in last year’s matchup against Kansas, the Jayhawks did limit him to just 10 2-point shot attempts. That was his second-lowest among the final 11 games of the season.
