My college basketball predictions back the favorites in two early afternoon games, while my top player props back two point guards, one of whom is playing in the marquee Big East matchup of the night.

Green Bay vs. Campbell prediction: Campbell -5.5 (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Green Bay has one of the worst rim-protecting defenses in the country, allowing a bottom-25 rate (59%) from 2-point range. That is something I expect Campbell to take advantage of, especially since it is D-I’s second-worst 3-point shooting team.

Campbell is battle tested with five of seven losses to power conference teams, and is prepared to cover the spread for the fourth time in six games following a loss.

This is a sharp line, with a spread of -5.5 and -110 juice (52.38% implied odds) across the market at our best sports betting sites.

Binghamton vs. Army prediction: Army -7.5 (-110 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Binghamton has yet to win a road game while sitting at 3-10 overall, and ranks in the bottom 15 in adjusted defensive efficiency and turnover rate forced.

This would be a four-star play if Bearcats center Demetrius Lilley misses the game. The La Salle transfer was limited to six minutes in the last contest, after scoring 11-plus points in every other game he has appeared in this season.

The -7.5 is juiced to -112 at the high end of the market, so I’m taking advantage of the best price at FanDuel.

Themus Fulks Over 0.5 made 3-pointers (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

UCF point guard Themus Fulks has attempted just 15 3-pointers on the season, but has made a blistering 53.3%. 

The pass-first guard ranks 44th among all D-I players with a 34.5% assist rate. But he should be brimming with confidence after tying a season-high with three made 3-pointers last game, while now facing a Florida Atlantic defense that allows opponents to shoot 36.8% from beyond the arc (302nd-worst).

If Fulks makes at least one 3-pointer for the third time in the last four games, my $10 winning wager would return $8.70 in profit.

Bryce Lindsay Under 13.5 points (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Villanova point guard Bryce Lindsay will be the focal point of Seton Hall’s backcourt defensively, as he is the team’s leading scorer (16.7 points) and 3-point shooter (44.3%). 

The Pirates rank in the top 13 in adjusted defensive efficiency and 2-point percentage allowed, but Villanova’s lack of an inside presence can help Seton Hall focus more on the perimeter. 

This is a four-star play, as KenPom projects Villanova for just 66 points, and Lindsay has stayed Under this total in five of the last seven games.
