My college basketball predictions and best bets today scoured the small seven-game slate to comprise a four-pack of plays to rival the NFL action. Those picks are highlighted by a Big Ten team looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
Our college basketball player props also double down on another Big Ten game, as a USC big man and Wisconsin guard each figure to be a focal point of their respective team’s offense.

Florida Atlantic vs. South Florida prediction: Florida Atlantic +5.5 (-124 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
South Florida has shot 40% from 3-point range in its last four games. It will be another heavy volume shooting day from the perimeter, as the Owls rank in the 88th percentile in rim efficiency defense thanks to the interior duo of Xander Pintelon and Devin Williams.
With Florida Atlantic able to take away half of South Florida’s “rim and 3” offense, I don’t expect the Bulls to consistently shoot their way to a cover. The Owls are 13-5 ATS and covered eight of 10 games when playing on two or three days’ rest, making this a confident five-star play.
Oregon vs. Washington prediction: Washington -9 (-110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐
Washington has lost three consecutive games coming into this matchup, but all three have come against top 12 KenPom teams (Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska). I am buying low on a Huskies team that should see positive regression from a 29% shooting percentage from 3-point range after playing some of the stingiest perimeter defenses in the country.
Dana Altman’s Ducks have lost five straight games, and each of the last four by double digits. They are just 6-13 ATS on the season and covered two of eight conference games, and I expect those struggles to continue on the road.
⛹️ College basketball player props today
Ezra Ausar Over 14.5 points (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
USC center Ezra Ausar figures to have a distinct physical advantage against Wisconsin’s front line. Ausar has been living at the free-throw line of late, with six-plus attempts in five of the last six games, adding to his Big Ten-best 91.2% free-throw rate in league play.
Ausar is one of the few big men in the conference that dominates possession (24.4% possession rate ranks 25th in the league), and he should expose a Badgers defense that allows opponents to score 50% of its points inside the arc.
Nicholas Boyd Under 1.5 3-pointers made (-125 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
Wisconsin guard Nicholas Boyd has been asked much more of late to rely on dribble creation to make the team’s offense hum. While he has four-plus 3-point attempts in four of the last five games, he also averaged more than nine free-throw attempts in the four games before the last win against Penn State.
Wisconsin’s floor spacing with its big men is a big reason why the Over on Nolan Winter’s 0.5 3-pointers made is juiced to -210 (67.74% implied odds) at bet365. That’s why I am opting for the better value with the Under on Boyd’s total.
