The NBA postseason is officially here, with the Western Conference bracket beginning with the No. 7 Phoenix Suns hosting the No. 8 Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Play-In Tournament.

My Trail Blazers vs. Suns player props for Tuesday's matchup include backing a well-rested All-Star while also sizing up the strengths and weaknesses of the Phoenix defense. Tuesday's tipoff is at 10 p.m. ET (streaming on Prime Video) from Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, with the Suns a 4.5-point betting favorite.

💰 Best Trail Blazers vs. Suns prop bet

The Suns have the 17th-shortest odds to win the NBA Finals.

Devin Booker Over 26.5 points (-106)

Devin Booker is a proven postseason performer who has had nearly a week off to prepare for this matchup while resting his ailing ankle. How much that injury was truly bothering him isn't reflected in his recent outings, however, as he scored 30-plus in five of his last six games.

Booker has helped the Suns far exceed preseason expectations in 2025-26, and I anticipate a big-time scoring performance from him on Tuesday to punch his team's ticket to the playoffs. The market has his scoring total set at 26.5, and I bet a full unit at FanDuel's -106 odds.

🔥 More Trail Blazers vs. Suns prop picks

Follow all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.

Donovan Clingan Over 25.5 points + rebounds (-106)

Donovan Clingan soared past this combo total in two of his three head-to-head matchups against the Suns - partly because it's a strong matchup for the NBA leader in total rebounds this season.

Phoenix is a subpar rebounding squad, allowing an average of 14.8 boards per game to opposing centers. Because the best sports betting sites have factored that advantage into the odds on Clingan's rebounding total (-122 at DraftKings), I'm backing this 25.5 combo prop total instead.

Jrue Holiday Under 2.5 3-point field goals (-114)

While Jrue Holiday has been a solid long-range shooter this season, he's only hit one total 3-pointer across two games against the Suns.

And that's no fluke: Phoenix ranks second-best in the Association in opponent 3-point percentage. Holiday has had some higher volume shooting nights from deep of late, but that can't be the Trail Blazers' offensive strategy on Tuesday going up against this defense.

🚀 Trail Blazers vs. Suns same-game parlay

I'm targeting a simple 2-leg parlay: Booker Over 26.5 points and the Suns to win by at least five points. Booker is the engine behind Phoenix's offensive success, so you have to imagine he will put the ball in the hoop often on Tuesday if the home Suns are to win and advance. DraftKings offers +222 odds on this 2-legger, which I laid a half-unit on.

💵 Trail Blazers vs. Suns SGP picks

  • Suns -4.5 (-105)
  • Devin Booker Over 26.5 points (-106)

Best odds: +222 via DraftKings (0.5u -> 1.4u)

💡 How I'm betting Trail Blazers vs. Suns

I'm targeting both a strength (3-point defense) and a weakness (rebounding) in the Suns' defense while also backing the matchup's top scorer: Booker.

With this being a more unpredictable one-game postseason matchup between Phoenix and Portland, I'm laying off slightly by betting 2.5 units total, with the Booker scoring Over getting a full 1 unit as my most confident player prop.
