🔥 Nikola Jokic player prop: To record a triple-double (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jokic hasn’t recorded a triple-double in consecutive games, so it’s about time for him to end that streak against the Charlotte Hornets. To be fair, he hasn’t gone more than two straight games without a triple-double all year.

Jokic has recorded a triple-double in 11 of his 22 contests this season. The closing line for this ticket was as high as -185 in recent weeks, suggesting that BetMGM’s -118 is a bit of a bargain. In fact, FanDuel charges -150 on the same ticket.

Jokic’s assists total is trading at 10.5, while his rebound line is 12.5. Those odds suggest that a triple-double is very possible in tonight’s game.

⬆️ Austin Reaves player prop: Over 27.5 points + assists (-111) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Luka Doncic missing the last two games due to the birth of his second child, Reaves has served as the top option for the Lakers. He scored 80 total points and recorded 18 assists over the past two outings.

For this combo prop, the closing line was as high as 41.5 last time out against the Boston Celtics. So, the market has already adjusted for Doncic’s return. LeBron James is also questionable after missing the Boston game.

However, my argument is that it’s dropped too much. Reaves is averaging 29.3 points and 6.8 assists per contest this year. He’s cleared this prop in 14 of his 19 contests. At a -111 value, a $10 bet earns a profit of $9.01.

⬆️ VJ Edgecombe player prop: Over 10.5 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rookie guard VJ Edgecombe has cooled off since his impressive start, which included a 34-point performance in the opener. He’s scored 10 or fewer points in three of his past four outings.

Still, this is a favorable matchup for the 76ers guard. The Lakers struggle to slow down athletic guards. Plus, this scoring prop is tied for Edgecombe’s lowest scoring output of the year.

Edgecombe is averaging 14.3 points per contest, clearing this scoring line in 12 of his 19 contests this season. With this line being as high as 11.5 at FanDuel, I’ll grab the discount at BetMGM.

⬆️ Svi Mykhailiuk player prop: Over 1.5 3-pointers (-104) ⭐⭐⭐

Utah Jazz guard Svi Mykhailiuk has made the most of his surprising role as a starter this year. He’s averaging 9.1 points per game, hitting 1.8 3-pointers per contest on 36.4% shooting from long range. 

A matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder doesn’t seem like a favorable one for Mykhailiuk, but they actually rank 29th in the league at defending threes from the left corner. A quarter of Mykhailiuk’s scoring production comes from that range, per PropsMadness.

My best theory is that teams are more likely to shoot threes against the Thunder due to their pressure defense and that they're often trailing against OKC. Whatever the reason, I’ll place a $10 bet to win $9.62 on this prop.
