Coming off back-to-back NBA Cup performances since returning from injury, San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama faces a more favorable matchup against the Washington Wizards. As such, Wembanyama leads my NBA best bets for Thursday.

Victor Wembanyama Over 19.5 points (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Assuming Wembanyama continues to see an uptick in minutes, this line is simply too low at 19.5. His scoring prop is as high as 20.5 in the market, which is why FanDuel’s value stands out.
Wembanyama scored 22 points in 21 minutes in first game back from injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He followed that up with 18 points on six more shot attempts in 25 minutes against the New York Knicks.
Against the worst defensive team in the league, Wembanyama should have no problem reaching 20 points.

Mark Williams Over 11.5 points (-102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams scored 20 points against the Los Angeles Lakers last time out. He’s now scored at least 13 points in eight of his previous 10 games.
Until our best sports betting sites adjust to Williams’ output, I have no choice but to back him in the prop market. He scored 16 points in his previous matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who rank league average at defending the roll man and putbacks.

Ace Bailey Over 1.5 made 3-pointers (-132) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Utah Jazz guard Ace Bailey has earned more playing time of late, averaging nearly 30 minutes per game in December. He’s only averaging 9.8 points, but the volume (10.8 field goal attempts) has been there for the rookie.
Bailey should find an opening against a Lakers team that struggles to get stops. The Lakers are 25th in defending spot-ups, where Bailey gets 27% of his scoring, per Props Madness.
Bailey has hit multiple 3-pointers in 10 of his previous 17 outings. With this line being as high as -185 at some of the best sports betting apps, this price at FanDuel is a bargain.
Cameron Johnson Under 21.5 points + rebounds + assists (-130) ⭐⭐⭐
Cameron Johnson hasn’t been the upgrade from Michael Porter Jr. that the Denver Nuggets expected. Johnson is averaging 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists this year.
Johnson hasn’t cleared this PRA line in 17 of his 24 games, including his 43-minute performance against the Houston Rockets last time out. Johnson has failed to clear this line in three straight contests.
I’ll bet on that streak continuing against the Orlando Magic, who rank sixth in defensive rating.
