NBA Player Props Today: Best Prop Bets & Expert Picks for Black Friday

After a night off in the Association, my NBA player props today dive into an 11-game slate as part of Black Friday’s NBA best bets.

The headline matchup tonight is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks. As such, Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis are featured on tonight’s card.

⬆️  Ryan Rollins player prop: Over 18.5 points (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Milwaukee Bucks guard Ryan Rollins has been the leader of the offense with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined. 

Since Antetokounmpo suffered an injury, Rollins is averaging 23.2 points per game. He’s cleared 18.5 points in four of those five outings.

Even with Antetokounmpo in the lineup, Rollins has played well as the No. 2 option. He’s averaging 18.6 points per contest, clearing this line in 10 of his 19 outings. I like this -118 price tag, winning $8.47 on a $10 bet for tonight's matchup against the New York Knicks.

⬆️  Ajay Mitchell player prop: Over 11.5 points (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jalen Williams will make his season debut for the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight against the Phoenix Suns. That should move Ajay Mitchell back to the bench, which is why his points prop is trading at 11.5, even though he’s averaged 15.9 points per game.

However, this is a chance for Mitchell to start his Sixth Man of the Year campaign. If he can keep up his scoring impact as a reserve, he could cruise to securing the trophy. 

Mitchell is averaging 15.1 points in 14 contests as a reserve this year, so I see a path to him getting at least 12 on Friday. He has even more wiggle room if Williams is on a minutes restriction.

🔥  Luka Doncic player prop: To record a double-double (-140) ⭐⭐⭐

Lakers star Luka Doncic gets another matchup against his former team. This will be the third time he’s faced the Mavericks since they traded him in the middle of the night without warning last season.

Naturally, Doncic takes this matchup personally. He recorded a triple-double in his first matchup against Dallas, following that up with 45 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in his second meeting.

I’m tempted by the +475 price for Doncic to record a triple-double tonight, but I don’t mind paying the -140 value on his double-double odds. He’s earned a double-double in 10 of his 13 outings this season, averaging 35.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per contest.

⬆️  Anthony Davis player prop: Over 19.5 points (-108) ⭐⭐⭐

Dallas center Anthony Davis planned his return for Friday’s matchup in Los Angeles. This game matters to him as much as it does to Doncic, as the other person in February’s league-altering trade.

Davis, who hasn’t played since Oct. 29, is averaging 20.8 points per game. But that average includes a four-point performance in seven minutes in a game in which he was injured. In the previous four outings, Davis scored 22 or more points.

Assuming there is no minutes restriction for Davis, I like his chances of scoring at least 20 points. DraftKings’ -108 value on this prop suggests a $9.26 profit on a $10 bet.
