James has been playing so well of late that I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in the lineup tonight. If that’s the case, Deandre Ayton’s props are a tad inflated in a much tougher matchup on the second night of a back-to-back.

Ayton finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds last night, clearing a closing total for this combo line of 23.5. However, the New Orleans Pelicans lack a defensive interior presence, while the Spurs rank sixth in rim defense and ninth in rebounds allowed.

Luke Kornet Over 7.5 points (-103) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now, let’s focus on the other starting center in the Lakers vs. Spurs matchup. With Wembanyama maintaining his minutes restriction, there is value in some of Luke Kornet’s props in a favorable matchup.

Kornet scored four points against the Memphis Grizzlies last night, but I expect him to bounce back. The Lakers are 21st in rim defense and 24th in defensive rating. That bodes well for Kornet, who is averaging nine points in the 16 games he’s played with Wembanyama.

Kevin Durant Over 9.5 rebounds + assists (-134) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Alperen Sengun out, the Houston Rockets desperately need whatever Kevin Durant can give them at 37 years old. Last time out, Durant finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists while hitting a triple in the final seconds to defeat the Phoenix Suns.

Durant has delivered this season, including his rebounding and assist totals. He has recorded double-digit rebounds and assists in six straight games, averaging 5.7 rebounds and seven assists over that span.

I don’t see why that trend will end against the Trail Blazers, who rank fifth in pace, 17th in assists allowed, and 14th in rebounds allowed.

Jamal Murray to record a double-double (+135) ⭐⭐⭐

Jamal Murray has been the offensive engine for the Denver Nuggets in Nikola Jokic's absence. He’s recorded 29 assists on 55 potential dimes over his past three games.

My first thought was to bet the Over on his assist total, but the market beat me to it. Caesars charges as much as -150 on Over 8.5 assists for Murray, so I’d rather take the flier on him reaching 10-plus dimes in a double-double effort against the Boston Celtics.
