LeBron James Under 29.5 points + rebounds (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

James turned back the clock in his first game of the new year, recording 31 points and nine rebounds against the Memphis Grizzlies. I’ll bet on some regression in Sunday’s rematch, as he’s only cleared this line six times all year and once in his past five matchups.

James grabbed nine boards on 12 rebound chances against Memphis on Friday, but he hasn’t had more than four rebounds in a game since Dec. 18 before that. Scoring-wise, James has averaged 20.9 points this season, with half of his performances finishing fewer than 20 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 5.5 assists (+109) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now that Antetokounmpo is back and playing his typical minutes, we are getting some value on his props. His passing numbers have been down since his return, as he’d recorded 15 assists in four games.

However, his underlying metrics point toward positive regression. Antetokounmpo recorded 13 potential assists against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. A matchup against the Sacramento Kings could get him back on track, as they rank 28th in assists allowed. He had eight dimes against them on Nov. 1.

Bub Carrington Over 9.5 points (+102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

For the second time this week, I’m targeting Bub Carrington as one of my favorite NBA player props. It didn’t work out last time, but that was merely a blip in an impressive recent stretch for the second-year Washington Wizards guard.

Carrington has reached double figures in 10 of his previous 12 games, averaging 14.3 points over that span. More importantly, the Minnesota Timberwolves rank last in defending pick-and-roll ball-handlers this year. That’s where Carrington earns 33% of his scoring production, per Props Madness.

Jeremiah Fears Under 16.5 points + assists (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Trey Murphy III potentially back in the lineup, Jeremiah Fears won’t have as big a role on Sunday. His 18-point, four-assist performance without Murphy on Friday was an outlier in his recent stretch.

In the 12 games since Dec. 8, Fears is averaging 11.3 points and 3.3 assists. He’s failed to clear this line eight times over that span. As the Pelicans have gotten healthier, his impact on the team has decreased.

There is a reason why most shops have set this line at 15.5, highlighting the bargain at bet365 to win $8.70 on a $10 wager.
