Top NBA Parlay Picks for Monday: Can Mobley Stay Hot Against Lakers?

Top NBA parlay picks for March 21. Three-play parlay for a big payout! Don't miss out! SBR - trusted by bettors for over 20 years.

Tonight’s NBA card is loaded with consequential basketball. Read on for our NBA parlay picks.

The NBA will trot out several of its best teams for meaningful matchups on Monday. In the East, the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers square off as they fight to secure home-court advantage, while the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors jockey to avoid the play-in game.

In the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves will seek to hold on to the sixth seed with a win over the Dallas Mavericks. Lastly, the Utah Jazz will face the Brooklyn Nets in a cross-conference game with major ramifications for both sides.

However, we’ll avoid most of the big-market contests while targeting a handful of under-the-radar bets.

Here are our top NBA parlay picks for Monday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

NBA Parlay Predictions

Thunder +15 (-110)

Betting on the Oklahoma City Thunder isn't enjoyable, especially with the uncertainty tied to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. However, a few trends point to value here, and I expect the Thunder to cover this double-digit spread.

First, the Thunder have been exceptionally good against the spread in 2021-22. They're just 20-51 straight up, but Oklahoma is 42-25-4 ATS, which ranks second in the NBA. The Thunder have covered their last three games and are 4-1 ATS over their last five.

Next, the Celtics have been struggling when playing without rest, despite being good since the beginning of February. They lost the second leg of a back-to-back set against the Indiana Pacers on Feb. 27. Boston is just 5-6-1 ATS when playing without rest in 2021-22.

It’s hard not to take a team getting this many points at home. The Celtics just notched a huge win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, making this a prime letdown spot for the Eastern Conference’s hottest franchise.

Mobley Over 16.5 (-115)

It's tough to understand this line. Evan Mobley is averaging 21 points per game since Jarrett Allen went down against the Toronto Raptors, yet his total sits 4.5 points below that mark. Mobley has gone Over this number in all but two of the seven games Allen has missed.

The Cavaliers are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers, who aren’t exactly known for their defense. The Lakers are giving up the ninth-most points per game to power forwards and the 15th-most to centers in 2021-22. Los Angeles allows 51 points in the paint per game, which ranks fourth-highest in the Association.

Mobley gets plenty of looks close to the rim. He averages 7.7 paint touches and 3.5 drives per game, both of which will increase without Allen. Mobley should convert those attempts at a higher rate than usual because of Los Angeles’ uninspired defensive play.

The rookie racked up what was then a career-high 23 points against the Lakers in just his sixth NBA game, doing so with Allen on the floor. Expect similar success on Monday.

Pistons ML (-320)

The Detroit Pistons have been looking really good lately. They've gone 12-0-2 ATS in their most recent contests, and Detroit is the -7.5 favorite on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. It might be tough to keep that hot streak going against the spread, but the Pistons should at least beat a demoralized Portland team.

The books have finally adjusted to the post-deadline Pistons being much better. Acquiring Marvin Bagley III gives Detroit much more upside off the bench, and getting Kelly Olynyk back from injury does the same. Cade Cunningham is also starting to click, and Saddiq Bey is even beginning to step up.

All good things must come to an end, so I won’t target the Pistons to cover. They're just 2-1 ATS as a favorite this season, after all. Still, they should beat the battered Trail Blazers, so take this moneyline as part of Monday's NBA parlay picks.

Combined Odds: Thunder +15 (-110) + Mobley Over 16.5 (-115) + Pistons ML (-320) = +368
