Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals featured everything: a ridiculous comeback, a buzzer-beater to force overtime, a premature celebration as a nod to the past, and one of the best point guard battles we've seen these NBA playoffs.

Getting to watch Brunson and Haliburton go toe-to-toe in one of the NBA's most underappreciated rivalries will be a treat for NBA fans, especially if Game 1 was any indication of what these two have in store.

Brunson is poised for another jaw-dropping outing after putting up 43 points on 39 combined field-goal and free-throw attempts with a 42.5% usage rate in the series opener. The two-time All-Star should cruise past 29.5 points again for the eighth time in the playoffs thanks to his volume. He's averaging 29.9 points in the playoffs, the best of any player left.

Meanwhile, Haliburton might be best remembered for his scoring in Game 1, but he handed out 11 assists and leads the playoffs in assists per game (9.5). With the way teammates like Aaron Nesmith shot against the Knicks the first time around, Haliburton should get plenty of opportunities to hit double-digit assists again.

Those two and Karl-Anthony Towns, who exploded for 35 points and 12 rebounds in Game 1, should help this Over hit. Indiana doesn't have an answer for Towns with his ability to win inside and stretch the floor.

However, this game should be close again after we saw the Pacers outscore the Knicks 20-6 in under three minutes to force OT. Indiana is a resilient team, and although I don't expect the Pacers to steal another game, I envision them covering in a 117-112 loss.
