James has finished with 10 assists in three of his last six games, and while that isn’t enough on its own to justify this bet, Luka Doncic is out, so James should take on an even larger playmaking role without the Lakers’ assists leader.
When James has played without Doncic in the lineup, he has recorded 17 assists in 62 minutes (one assist every 3.6 minutes). So, as long as James plays 33 minutes tonight - which he has done in seven consecutive games - he will likely finish with nine or more assists and cash this bet.
