💰 Best Lakers vs. Hawks player props
⬆️ Luka Doncic player prop: Over 19.5 rebounds + assists (-106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Luka Doncic is taking full advantage of being the unquestioned driving force behind the Lakers’ attack this season, stuffing the stat sheet nightly and assuming even more usage than usual in the ongoing absence of LeBron James (back).
Doncic's MVP-caliber stat line so far includes 11 rebounds and 9.2 assists per contest, and he's reached this threshold in three of his first five games while falling just short in a fourth.
He's also coming off two days of rest, which is always a positive given the heavy workload he typically shoulders. The Hawks are ranked in the bottom 10 in rebounds allowed per game (56.3), furthering Doncic’s case.
At -106 odds on FanDuel, the bet has a 51.5% implied probability, and a $10 wager would net $9.43 in profit.
⬇️ Jalen Johnson player prop: Under 34.5 points + rebounds + assists (-108) ⭐⭐⭐
There’s no question this is a cashable prop for Jalen Johnson, who has cleared this threshold in four of his first eight games.
However, he's on the back end of a back-to-back set on Saturday, and Atlanta is an underdog with a sub-114-point total. Additionally, the Lakers rank in the top half of the league in both rebound- and assist-prevention metrics.
Johnson’s usage will remain elevated as long as Trae Young (knee) is out, but L.A.’s rest advantage could make a difference in wearing the Hawks down over the course of the game, Johnson included.
At -108 odds on DraftKings, the bet has a 51.9% implied probability, and a $10 wager would net $9.26 in profit.
⬆️ Deandre Ayton player prop: To record a double-double (+120) ⭐⭐⭐
Speaking of Los Angeles likely having more spring in its step than the Hawks on Saturday, Deandre Ayton could be a primary beneficiary down low. The veteran big man is already proving to be an excellent fit for the Lakers, averaging 17.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per contest.
Ayton has recorded two straight double-doubles and four overall this season, along with a career-best 65.7% shooting percentage. Additionally, the Hawks rank in the bottom 10, allowing 56.3 rebounds per game.
Atlanta is also surrendering the third-most points in the paint at home (56.5), an area of the floor where a career-high 85.7% of Ayton’s scoring is coming this season.
At +120 odds on FanDuel, the bet has a 45.5% implied probability, and a $10 wager would net $12 in profit.
