Can Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets push the Los Angeles Lakers' record to 0-4 on the season? We take a look at our favorite player prop picks for the game between the Lakers and Nuggets.

The Lakers are winless on the season and it won't get any easier on Wednesday as they face the Nuggets at Ball Arena. Denver is a 5.5-point favorite over the Lakers. Fortunately for us, we don't care who wins the game because we are attacking player props.

LeBron James Under 7.5 assists (-115)

As much as I hate to rain on the parade of any LeBron backers, if you only like smashing Overs on James' props, I might sit this one out. The Under for several of James' props is showing value on Wednesday, especially his assist total of 7.5. The points, rebounds, and assists are also showing value at 46.5 (-120).

The main reason there is value in the Under 46.5 is because of the assists total, so it may be a smart idea to go straight to the source. According to projections, the Under 46.5 points, rebounds, and assists should trade at -205, while the Under on the 7.5 assists should trade at -215.

Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 rebounds (-101)

You don't think Nikola Jokic will be extra motivated to help send the Lakers to an 0-4 start? The last time Jokic played, he had only nine rebounds, but it was a blowout loss for the Nuggets against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. Jokic played only 27 minutes.

Caesars has the total of 12.5 rebounds trading with increased juice on the Under, and I'm here to tell you it's juiced the wrong side. There should be increased vig on the Over 12.5 rebounds, which is why I favor the Over on this prop at -101.

Anthony Davis Over 1.5 blocks (-105)

Blocking shots has always been a strength of Anthony Davis' game, as he has averaged 2.3 blocks per game during his career. Davis blocked six shots in his previous game against the Trail Blazers. Considering that the Over 1.5 is trading at -105 via BetMGM, we are seeing an edge in pricing based on Davis' projections.
