💰 Best NBA player props today

⬆️ De’Andre Hunter player prop: Over 2.5 assists (-136) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley for tonight’s game against the Miami Heat. Those are three of the top four players on the team in assists per game.

Lonzo Ball, who will likely start tonight, is the only top-four passer available to play. However, he’s been getting around 20 minutes per game this season. I’d prefer to target De’Andre Hunter, who's fifth on the club while averaging 2.9 assists on 6.5 potential dimes per game.

Hunter’s usage should increase in a significant way on Wednesday, which is why BetMGM charges as much as -190 for this same ticket. DraftKings’ -136 offering is a steal, and it will earn $7.35 on a $10 wager. It comes with an implied probability of 57.45%.

⬆️ Paolo Banchero player prop: Over 27.5 points + assists (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero is beginning to find a rhythm offensively after a slow start. Banchero failed to clear this mark in his first three games of the season, but he's been responding well since while doing so in seven of his past eight contests.

Banchero is averaging 24.6 points and 5.5 assists per outing during that span. He’s been carrying the Magic to a 19th ranking in offensive rating.

I like Banchero to lead the way for Orlando during a high-profile matchup against the New York Knicks on ESPN. A successful $10 bet using these -115 betting odds from BetMGM would lead to an $8.70 profit, with an implied probability of 53.49%.

Elsewhere, our Phil Wood is eyeing one of New York's stars as part of his Magic vs. Knicks player props.

⬇️ De’Aaron Fox player prop: Under 5.5 assists (-136) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox has been back for two games, but Stephon Castle still runs the show as the team's lead facilitator. Castle paces the team with 12 assists on 15.5 potential dimes over his past two outings. Fox is averaging four assists on 7.5 possible dimes per contest.

I expect those two players to meet in the middle eventually, but Fox is clearly prioritizing his scoring impact. He’s poured in 45 points on 28 shots across two games.

The Golden State Warriors allow the 10th-fewest assists leaguewide, so I like Fox’s Under on 5.5 assists Wednesday. A $10 bet would lead to a $7.35 profit while using these odds from FanDuel, which come with an implied probability of 57.63%.

Wood is also locking in on Victor Wembanyama in his Warriors vs. Spurs player props.

⬆️ Austin Reaves player prop: Over 5.5 assists (-133) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Oklahoma City Thunder will likely throw extra defenders at Luka Doncic, trying to force someone else to beat them. That’s where Austin Reaves comes in tonight, as he was solid during his return from injury on Monday, finishing with 24 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.

Reaves has emerged as a formidable second offensive option alongside Doncic. He’s averaging 30.3 points and nine assists per game, with both marks ranking fifth in the NBA. Reaves is also averaging 12.1 potential assists and 58.4 passes per contest, both of which are second on the team behind Doncic.

Reaves will continue to fill this role until LeBron James returns. I like this Over at -133, netting $7.52 on a $10 bet.
