But that's exactly what my NBA player props today have dialed in on, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Darius Garland are featured in their second game back from injury. I've also found an angle for Neemias Queta following his breakout performance.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 30.5 points + assists (-120) vs. Hawks

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo made his return from injury on Monday, finishing with 19 points (7-of-18 shooting) and two assists (on five potential dimes) in 25.5 minutes of a blowout loss. He finished with a minus-16 point differential in his first game back since Jan. 23.

I wouldn't be surprised if Antetokounmpo is rusty, despite the market acting like he's in form. This same combo line closed at 24.5 last time out and is much closer to his season-long averages of 27.7 points and 5.5 assists per game. For what it's worth, Antetokounmpo has failed to clear this combo line in six straight contests.

This line is listed at 29.5 across most of the best sports betting sites, but bet365 and FanDuel stand alone at 30.5. I'd play this down to 29.5 as my favorite player prop of the night.

Neemias Queta Under 17.5 points + rebounds (-102) vs. Hornets

I'm fading Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta after his breakout performance on Sunday. He finished with 27 points and 17 rebounds across 27 minutes against the Philadelphia 76ers.

As much as I love Queta's game, it was a surprising night based on recent trends. Queta has only cleared this combo line three times in the eight games since Boston traded for backup center Nikola Vucevic. He averaged nine points and 6.9 rebounds in 21.7 minutes in the seven contests before Sunday's impressive showing.

Additionally, the Charlotte Hornets allow the fewest rebounds leaguewide.

Queta's combo line is listed at 16.5 at most of the best NBA betting sites, making FanDuel's offering too good to pass up.

Darius Garland Under 18.5 points + rebounds (-106) vs. Pacers

The Los Angeles Clippers eased Darius Garland into his debut on Monday against the Golden State Warriors. He finished with 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting with two assists on six potential dimes in 23 minutes. The result was an Under on a closing line of 17.5 for this combo prop.

I don't agree with the line increasing tonight, especially when looking at the Clippers' game plan for Garland. He came off the bench and only had one quarter (the second) where he played more than six minutes. He's clearly still getting his legs under him in a new system, so I'd be surprised if it all clicks in his second outing with the team.

This Under is listed at 18.5 across the board, with FanDuel's price (-106) being the best of the bunch.

I'm betting a little over three units between three player props for tonight's NBA slate. That's pretty typical behavior, particularly when I believe there are edges to be found.

In this case, I think the market has overrated the impact Antetokounmpo and Garland will have during their returns from injury. There's typically an adjustment period following extended absences.

There's a similar argument against Queta, who's unlikely to replicate Sunday's showing.

I see all three players disappointing tonight.
