My NBA player props today tackle a six-game slate as part of Friday’s NBA best bets.
At the very least, half of the matchups should be intriguing. The Philadelphia 76ers will host the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Houston Rockets face the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angeles Clippers visit the Toronto Raptors.

💰 Best NBA player prop today: Kawhi Leonard (Clippers) Over 2.5 assists (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Check out all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard is averaging 3.7 assists per game this season, clearing this line in 17 of his 21 matchups. Leonard’s assist total hasn’t closed lower than 3.5 since Dec. 11.
Basically, bet365 is providing a bargain to take -125 on Over 2.5 assists. This same ticket costs -190 at BetMGM. The Raptors rank third in assists allowed, but Leonard has averaged 3.8 dimes against teams ranked in the top five in assists allowed this season.

Jaylon Tyson (Cavaliers) Over 13.5 points (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without Darius Garland and Sam Merrill in Friday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, which should create more opportunities for Jaylon Tyson to make an impact.
Tyson has played six games without Garland and Merrill this year, averaging 20.2 points on 12.7 shots with a 20.3% usage. He’s scored at least 15 points in all six matchups, with his closing line for this point total being as high as 13.5 thrice.
Johnny Furphy (Pacers) Over 5.5 rebounds (+112) ⭐⭐⭐
If you thought I was going to stop playing Johnny Furphy’s rebounds prop because it climbed from 4.5 to 5.5, think again.
Since entering the Indiana Pacers starting lineup on Dec. 27, Furphy is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game.
He’s cleared this line in all four matchups against opposing teams that ranked 14th or worse in rebounds allowed over that span. At the same time, he’s finished Under in five of the six contests against teams ranked 11th or better in rebounds allowed.
The New Orleans Pelicans are 23rd in rebounds allowed, suggesting Furphy has a good chance of cashing another ticket tonight.
Alex Sarr (Wizards) Under 18.5 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐
Coming off a four-point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr has a point total of 18.5. And it’s almost entirely based on a favorable matchup against the Sacramento Kings.
The problem with inflating lines too much based on matchups is that it doesn’t always translate to success. Sarr has had a point total of 18.5 or higher only twice since December, scoring 7 points against the Charlotte Hornets and 14 against the New Orleans Pelicans. He’s averaging 15.9 points per game this year.
