🏀 NBA Player Props & Best Bets Tonight: Ball, Durant, and Doncic Featured in 10-Game Slate

Thursday brings a star-filled 10-game schedule, and I've found three NBA player props I absolutely love ahead of the 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff.

I’ve circled LaMelo Ball, Kevin Durant, and Luka Doncic as my top plays for tonight - we're in for four total units ($200). What's better than wagering on some elite talent? Nothing. Let's dig in.

Ball is coming off one of the more efficient shooting performances of his season and now gets a defense ranked 21st in the NBA. I'd price this number closer to -130 so we're going to take the value FanDuel is giving us and run. The Pacers are also one of the worst rebounding teams in the league, and that means a lot of second-chance opportunities for Charlotte tonight.

Durant to splash from downtown vs. Magic (+148)

Durant has dropped three or more 3-pointers in two of his last three games. The only reason why we're seeing longer odds today is because the Magic are one of the better perimeter defending teams in the NBA. A wise man once said "every ambitious move is a gamble," and I'll take my shot with Durant. While I usually drop .5u on plus-money plays, the trends are telling us to risk a full unit here.

Fade Donic vs. Suns tonight (-110)

If you've been watching Doncic play basketball you may be thinking "who the hell is this guy?" He's been passive, lethargic, lazy, and just hasn't looked like the elite player we've come to know. Hell, he's even 7-for-15 from the free-throw line across his last two games. As a result, he's gone over this number just once in February. It's an easy fade for me.

💡 How I'm betting the NBA slate

Thursday's card is built around matchup edges based off mismatches I’ve identified. Unit sizes are adjusted based on where I see the strongest value. Two of three bets tonight focus on stars who will be playing in close games, which gives us more of an opportunity to go over their specific number. I'm using $50 as my unit size, meaning I'm in for $200 today. If we have a good couple of weeks moving into the stretch run, it might be time to move our unit size to $75.
