Bet the home teams on tonight’s NBA slate. Read on for our NBA best bets for Wednesday based on the top NBA odds.

We’re featuring a number of home teams in today’s column. The Oklahoma City Thunder are the best team in the league against the spread, and they’ll look to cover against the shorthanded Indiana Pacers.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves travel west to face the Nuggets at Ball Arena, where Denver has been spectacular.

The Houston Rockets are small home underdogs, but they’ll look to pull off an upset over the visiting Charlotte Hornets and snap an 11-game losing streak.

Finally, the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Memphis Grizzlies, and Jarrett Allen will try to stay hot on offense with Donovan Mitchell unlikely to take the court.

Here are our NBA best bets for Wednesday (odds via BetMGM, PointsBet, and WynnBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

NBA Top Picks

Spread: Nuggets -8.5 vs. Timberwolves (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Denver won big again Tuesday, extending the team’s home win streak to 14 games with a 122-113 victory over the Trail Blazers. Denver is 20-3 at home and sports the best home record in the Association. The team has been equally impressive ATS at 14-8-1 in front of the home crowd. Denver is 3-2 on no rest, and the team will be playing the second game of the Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back set.

The Nuggets have covered in five of their last seven, and the Timberwolves have covered in just one of their last four. The Wolves won and covered against Denver when the teams faced off in Minnesota earlier in the season. The outcome should be different tonight, as Minnesota is just 3-8 as the road underdog.

Spread: Thunder -4.5 vs. Pacers (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oklahoma City has been the best team ATS this season with a 28-16 record. The Thunder are 5-3 as home favorites, while the Pacers are 9-9 as road underdogs. Indiana will still be without Tyrese Haliburton, but Myles Turner is back after making his return Monday.

The Thunder are 5-1 straight-up across their last six games while covering in six straight. The Pacers have lost four in a row and are 1-4 ATS across the last five outings.

The Pacers just haven’t been the same without their star point guard, and the relatively healthy Thunder can stay hot and cover this one in front of the home crowd.

This line is offered at -4 at most books, but we’ll take it at -4.5 to avoid a push. This feels like an appropriate line, but I’d bet it up to Thunder -5.5.

Upset: Rockets ML vs. Hornets (+118) ⭐⭐⭐

On a slate filled with some conference heavyweights and contenders, we find a cellar-dweller showdown between the Rockets and Hornets. Charlotte comes into this one on a five-game losing streak, while Houston’s losing streak sits at 11. Someone’s got to win, and we’re banking on the home team.

The Rockets are 6-14 at home compared to just 4-20 on the road, so there’s a small home-court advantage to be had. The Hornets are 5-16 at home and 6-18 on the road, winning nearly the same percentage of games in both situations.

Charlotte’s injury list is full of key players, as Kelly Oubre is out and both Gordon Hayward and Cody Martin are doubtful. Houston’s Kevin Porter Jr. is questionable, and his return would be a huge boon to the team’s prospects.

Houston can win this game as a small home underdog, and we’ll back the Rockets at plus-money odds.

Prop bet: Jarrett Allen Over 19.5 points vs. Grizzlies (+260) ⭐⭐⭐

I rolled with Darius Garland’s points prop on Monday, and I’m going back to Cleveland tonight. This time, we’re focused on the big man, Jarrett Allen. Allen has been big on offense over his last three games, totaling 24, 19, and 24 points, respectively.

Donovan Mitchell sustained a groin injury Monday, and he’s doubtful Wednesday against the Grizzlies. This season, Allen has averaged 13.6 points with Mitchell in the lineup and 16.5 with him sidelined. Allen averaged 23.5 points across two matchups with Memphis a season ago.

The Grizzlies are one of the best teams in the league at limiting points in the paint, but over the last three games, Memphis has surrendered the sixth most at 56.7.

Allen’s points prop is set at 15.5 across all major sportsbooks, and the odds are a lackluster -115. We’ll take it a step further and get this one at 19.5 on PointsBet for juicy +260 odds. FanDuel Sportsbook also offers this one at 19.5 for +230.
