It’s time to make a Fever vs. Lynx prediction for the second time this weekend ahead of Sunday’s matchup at 7 p.m. ET in Target Center on CBS Sports Network.
The Lynx, who are WNBA championship odds favorites with the best record (29-7) in the league, earned a 95-90 win as 4.5-point road favorites against the Fever (19-17) on Friday. Now, Minnesota is laying -9.5 at home in the rematch.
Napheesa Collier hasn’t played since Aug. 2 due to a sprained ankle, but my WNBA prediction is counting on her return.

📈 Fever vs. Lynx betting odds analysis
The Lynx open as 9.5-point favorites, which makes sense because they have been the best home team in the league this year. Minnesota is 17-1 with a +17.5 net rating in home regular-season games this season, which is why the line has climbed five points with a change of venue.
I’m guessing the market will prefer Minnesota, especially if Collier returns.

⬇️ Fever team total Under 78.5 (-128 via Betano) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Indiana scored 90 points in Friday’s loss, but I’m betting against a repeat performance for two reasons: The Lynx lead the league in defensive rating (93.9) at home, and Minnesota is a much better defensive team with Collier in the lineup.
Collier has been listed as questionable in back-to-back road games, going through warmups before being ruled out. This feels like a great spot for her to return from a sprained ankle.
Collier remains the MVP front-runner, but she’s already missed 10 games (twice as many as any previous MVP winner). While I like her chances of having a big night in her return, her most significant impact might come on the other end as the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
Team totals aren’t widely available at our best sportsbooks as of this writing, but I like the Under at 77.5 or better as a four-star play.
💰 Best Fever vs. Lynx player prop bet
⬆️ Napheesa Collier Over 19.5 Points (+148 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m calling my shot with Collier’s return. I think she will have a big night to regain complete control of the MVP race. I don’t see any reason why the Lynx would bring her back unless she’s fully healthy.
Collier is averaging 23.5 points per game this season. FanDuel offers a solid price for her to finish with 20 points, as a $10 bet nets a $14.80 profit.

❓ Fever vs. Lynx FAQs
Who is the favorite to win [Visitor vs. Host]?
The Lynx are 9.5-point favorites against the Fever on Sunday in Target Center.
How do WNBA spread odds work?
When betting on the WNBA, the favorite needs to win by a certain number of points to cover the "point spread" - also known as the betting line. Conversely, the underdog needs to lose by fewer than the points displayed in the spread or win outright to cash. For example, a 3-point favorite would need to win by 4 or more points to reward bettors.
How do WNBA moneyline odds work?
When betting on the WNBA, the underdog will have the "longer" odds and is typically priced at "plus-money" odds that indicate the profit on a $100 bet. For example, a team with +150 odds would turn a $100 bet into a $150 profit - or a $10 bet into a $15 profit - according to our odds converter.
