The Los Angeles Sparks welcome the Indiana Fever travel to Crypto.com Arena, as we provide our top Fever vs. Sparks predictions and Caitlin Clark player props based on the best WNBA odds.

With the unenviable tag of the WNBA's worst record, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (0-5) have struggled mightily early this season. However, the Fever are 2-point favorites against the Los Angeles Sparks (1-2) for Friday's game at Crypto.com Arena. The game starts at 10 p.m. ET.

Despite their winless start, the Fever remain contenders in the latest WNBA championship odds as Clark begins to find her rhythm in her first week of professional play. She continues to be a strong contender in the WNBA MVP odds, especially after scoring 21 points in Wednesday's 85-83 loss to the Seattle Storm. To keep their championship hopes alive and bolster Clark's MVP candidacy, the Fever need to capitalize on Friday's matchup and secure their first win of the season.

In addition to our Caitlin Clark odds and prop bets, here are our best Fever vs. Sparks predictions (odds via our best sports betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Fever vs. Sparks predictions for Friday

Fever -2 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It might seem like a curious choice for our best sports betting sites to offer the Fever as road favorites after their winless start. However, they've shown enough over the last week to not only justify this line, but to wager on it, too.

The team looked clueless a week ago, but the pieces are starting to come together for Christie Sides' squad. Indiana went toe-to-toe with a healthy Storm team on Wednesday, which came two days after the Fever nearly upset the undefeated Connecticut Sun, who had blown them out less than a week earlier.

Indiana has yet to face a team ranked outside the top four in the title market, and it's coming off two losses by a combined six points. There's a reason I slotted the Fever into ninth in my latest WNBA power rankings - two spots ahead of the Sparks - even without a win, and I fully expect them to check that box on Friday.

Fever Over 83.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

This is a tricky line to bet into, as the Fever have fallen below this mark in four of five games. They've also faced top-five defenses in all five of those contests.

That won't be the case Friday against the Sparks, who rank ninth in defensive rating (102.0) and have surrendered 89-plus points in two of three games thus far. The lone outlier came against the Washington Mystics (68 points), who own the WNBA's worst offense on paper.

This same prop is dealing at -120 through bet365, which represents an implied probability of 54.55%, according to our odds converter. Our -104 odds via FanDuel pay out $9.62 in profit on a $10 wager, roughly 15% more than bet365, which makes it even easier to bet on an offensive explosion from Indiana.

Caitlin Clark player props for Friday

Caitlin Clark Over 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've been fading Clark's player props to great success all season so far as she adjusts to the WNBA's speed and physicality. She seems to be picking it up before our very eyes though, and it might finally be time to reverse course.

Clark is still fighting through rookie woes, which was clear in the first half against the Storm on Wednesday. She found her confidence after the break - as has been the case lately - while firing away from deep and forcing her way to the line en route to 16 second-half points and 21 points overall.

We'll now see what Clark can do against one of the league's worst defenses after facing such strong competition. I'm tempted to bet her alternate total of 25 points (+310 via FanDuel), but this is the better value play on what could be a coming-out party for the No. 1 pick.

Best odds: -118 via FanDuel

Caitlin Clark Over 3.5 threes ⭐⭐⭐

This is the one positive Clark market that I've bet into during 2024, and it's surprising that we're catching such generous odds ahead of Friday's game.

The Fever rookie only made two 3-pointers on Wednesday, but she attempted eight shots from deep. It was her fifth consecutive game with at least seven such attempts. She currently leads the WNBA in 3-point makes (14) and attempts (43), and Clark has made at least three triples in three of five starts, with four makes in two.

This bet is worth making at these +106 odds just on volume alone, and it would return $10.60 in profit for every $10 wagered. The Sparks are allowing the second-most threes per game (9.7), and I like Clark's chances of lighting them up from deep.

Best odds: +106 via FanDuel

Caitlin Clark Over 5.5 rebounds ⭐⭐

I couldn't help but highlight this appealing plus-money prop from DraftKings, especially as Clark continues to attack the glass in the early going.

We've been eyeing her rebounding market all year, with the idea being that Clark can find other ways to make an impact even when her shots aren't falling. Sure enough, following a zero-rebound effort in her debut, she's recorded six-plus rebounds in three of her last four games after grabbing seven boards on Wednesday.

Los Angeles has been the WNBA's best rebounding team, which is why this is just a two-star endorsement. Still, I would be remiss not to call out these +105 odds on a bet that comes with a decent chance of cashing once again.

Best odds: +105 via DraftKings
