The injury-ravaged Grey Cup odds-contending Montreal Alouettes host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET (TSN/RDS, CBSSN) from Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Montreal. Given Montreal's QB injuries, my Blue Bombers vs. Alouettes prediction is all over a Winnipeg team that's a 5.5-point favorite by the CFL odds.

Despite Montreal still being considered a Grey Cup contender due to how weak the East is this year, the Als' season is falling apart amid a laundry list of QB injuries. First it was Davis Alexander, then McLeod Bethel-Thompson, and now Caleb Evans.
All three are out against Winnipeg, with Jason Maas forced to start James Morgan, and the only other QBs on the team are the recently signed Cameron Dukes and Shea Patterson. That's enough for me to back a Bombers team that's 5-1 against squads that aren't the Calgary Stampeders. My Blue Bombers vs. Alouettes prediction projects a 27-20 win for Winnipeg.

The Alouettes' offense has been falling off a cliff since Alexander's injury, and it now sits second-last in the CFL in points per game (23.7) and yards per outing (323.1). Morgan stepped in for an injured Evans last week while playing the whole contest against the BC Lions, going 20-for-33 with 322 yards, with a touchdown and an interception.
There's no reason to believe he'll turn the offense around this week, even against a Winnipeg defense that's been struggling this season. The Als aren't just down their top three QBs. They're also without two of their star pass-catchers, Tyson Philpot and Austin Mack, and their leading rusher Sean Thomas Erlington (neck) and leading receiver Tyler Snead (heel) are dealing with injuries.
Meanwhile, the Bombers are relatively healthy and boast one of the league's best offenses while sitting No. 4 in points (27.4). With Zach Collaros, Brady Oliveira, and Nic Demski all suiting up, Winnipeg shouldn't struggle to score and cover against a Montreal team that's 1-6 against the spread lately.
