My Yankees vs. Giants prediction expects both starters to be in tough, as I'm betting on plenty of scoring. The Yankees are once again small moneyline favorites, but I'm forgoing picking an outright winner and instead looking at a pair of intriguing player props along with the game total, which is set at 8.

🏆 Who will win Yankees vs. Giants?
I backed the Giants to win the season opener and, well, we know how that went. Maybe I gave San Francisco's offense too much credit, but I do think it wakes up a bit in this game now that it's not facing AL Cy Young contender Max Fried.
However, I don't think it'll be enough to beat the Yankees today. After a hilariously poor showing at the plate, Aaron Judge should contribute at least something, and I expect Giancarlo Stanton and Jazz Chisholm to stay hot.

The Yankees nearly went Over this total on their own in the first game, and that was with Logan Webb starting for the Giants. Now that the two Cy Young contenders have pitched, we should see even more offense in this afternoon game at Oracle Park.
A couple of the best sports betting sites have this total listed at 8.5 at better odds, but I'll opt to take the Over on 8 so we have the chance to push in case Judge and the Giants' offense once again show up half-asleep for this one.

While Webb didn't have his best stuff, he still did an admirable job of limiting the damage compared to how bad it could have been. I don't anticipate Ray and Schlittler having as much success today.

Jazz Chisholm Over 1.5 total bases (+205)
We're seeing an edge on this one, likely due to the lefty-lefty matchup. However, that doesn't scare me off, and the projections suggest it opens up a very lucrative betting opportunity.
Based on Chisholm's projections for this afternoon's game, we're getting better than 25% +EV on him to go Over 1.5 total bases. As was the case with Stanton on Wednesday night, the Over 1.5 is the higher EV play than Over 0.5 at minus money. Though if you can find a -125 or -130 for Over 0.5 bases, I don't hate that.

Rafael Devers home run (+425)
There's a ton of hype surrounding Schlittler, but I'm not completely sold on him yet. You can get away with pumping in fastball after fastball as a starting pitcher for only so long, and I think he gets a bit of a rude awakening in his first start of the season now that teams have more tape on him.
Rafael Devers absolutely smoked a liner in MLB's Opening Night game, and I think he gets the launch angle right this afternoon and lifts it out of Oracle Park. Based on his projection, we're getting better than 43% +EV on this home run bet. Even DraftKings' low price of +363 still profiles as a good bet, though I wouldn't play this at anything shorter than +335.
I also backed Devers as part of my home run predictions today.
