Our Yankees vs. Blue Jays MLB player props are locking in on Max Fried to notch a win (+135).

The Toronto Blue Jays aim to take a 2-0 series lead following a 10-1 win over the New York Yankees in the opener. I’m not banking on as much offense in my Yankees vs. Blue Jays player props for the AL Division Series Game 2 at 4:08 p.m. ET on Sunday at Rogers Centre (FS1).

Sunday’s matchup features an intriguing battle of pitchers between the established left-hander Max Fried and the rookie right-hander Trey Yesavage. My MLB picks for Game 2 believe both will be successful.

New York is a -155 favorite in this matchup that could determine which AL team is getting the best World Series odds tomorrow morning.

💰 Best player prop picks for Yankees vs. Blue Jays Game 2

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬆️ Trey Yesavage Over 4.5 strikeouts (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The postseason of rookie starters continues on Sunday. The Yankees should know better than most not to underestimate a first-year pitcher, as New York’s Cam Schlittler whiffed 12 batters across eight scoreless innings in Game 3 of the AL Wild Card series.

Yesavage likely won’t enjoy that kind of showing, but he can feel just as unhittable at times. The Blue Jays’ No. 1 prospect has posted a whiff rate of 35.4%, largely through a nasty split-finger pitch with a whiff rate of 57.1%. Yesavage has recorded 19 strikeouts across just three MLB starts.

This Over started at plus money, but the market has been responding accordingly. I’ll take the last -110 offering through bet365, netting $9.09 on a $10 wager with an implied probability of 52.38%.

🔥 Max Fried to record a win (+135) ⭐⭐⭐

If you have access to Fanatics, this prop is priced at +140 at that shop. But I’d play this down to +130, as it’s a better way to have action on the Yankees evening up the series on Sunday.

Fried led the majors with 19 wins this season. Wins might not matter for statistical purposes anymore, but a pitching victory can be helpful from a betting perspective. In this case, I’m banking on Fried pitching long enough for the Yankees to take the lead.

His outs prop sits at 17.5, which indicates that Fried enjoying a long afternoon is a solid bet, particularly after the Yankees used five relievers yesterday. He also earned a win in his final six regular-season starts. At +135 through bet365, a $10 wager earns $13.50, with an implied probability of 42.55%.

⬆️ Aaron Judge Over 0.5 RBIs (+140) ⭐⭐⭐

You haven’t seen the internet make jokes about Aaron Judge’s postseason play this week because he’s playing well. He's logged six hits in four playoff games thus far, striking out just three times during that span.

However, Judge has only recorded one RBI throughout that stretch. That’s why there's value in this +140 price tag (41.67% implied probability) for him to drive in a run. Ballpark Pal’s model projects 0.77 RBIs for Judge, giving him the best odds among all players in this game.

That’s worth a $10 bet, which would translate to a $14 in profit.

Our Mike Spector is also locking in on Anthony Volpe to go deep in his best MLB home run predictions today.
