My Tigers vs. Phillies prediction highlights a possible World Series preview from Citizens Bank Park (first pitch is set for 6:45 p.m. ET) as two of eight MLB teams with 61-plus wins.

Detroit may have finally turned things around, winning four straight following a 1-12 stretch. But our Tigers vs. Phillies prediction buys into Philadelphia’s dominance against right-handed pitching, and backs its moneyline odds with a hot starting pitcher on the mound.

Prior to a mini 0-for-7 slump over the last two games, Phillies slugger Nick Castellanos had a five-game RBI streak. The fact that he has driven in at least one run in four of his last five home games makes this a great value play as my best Tigers vs. Phillies player prop.
