There were plenty of big moves throughout the offseason that impacted this market, and with all of the big free-agent names signed, the landscape has officially taken shape.
The most recent headline-making addition was made by an NL West hopeful, the San Francisco Giants. They signed reigning NL Cy Young winner Blake Snell in an attempt to keep pace with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.
On the other hand, a big AL East team's projected win total dipped significantly due to a potentially major injury.

The Dodgers have made plenty of headlines throughout the offseason with their signings of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and they also signed outfielder Teoscar Hernandez and traded for right-hander Tyler Glasnow.

It's important to note the differences between how certain sportsbooks are listing their win totals odds. Some choose the juice the Over and Under to different levels, depending on which side is deemed to be the favorite (as is the case with daily betting). However, Caesars mostly opts to list both sides at -110.
Additionally, Caesars lists some flat totals, which could result in a push if the team finishes with the exact number of wins listed.

We've listed each team in the order they finished at the conclusion of the 2023 MLB season to provide you with a better understanding of both how the landscape changed and the degree of success these teams had last season.
The Orioles' line got a significant bump from the Corbin Burnes trade, though they still have only the second-highest total in their division.
Baltimore isn't the only AL East team to make a splash this offseason.
Before the Dodgers stole the spotlight, everyone was talking about the New York Yankees this offseason after they traded for Juan Soto. As a result of that massive acquisition, the Yankees are trading at the second-highest win total among all American League teams. They also feature the two favorites for the AL side in the MLB MVP odds.
However, despite owning the second-highest projected win total, the Yankees' number did dip by about three wins following Gerrit Cole's potentially long-term injury.
Just ahead of the Yankees are the always dangerous Houston Astros.
The most competitive division in this market is, as expected, the AL East. However, the total for the Boston Red Sox continues to dip, as it's now at 77.5 at most of our top sportsbooks.
Following the trade of Dylan Cease to the San Diego Padres, the Chicago White Sox are trading at a projected win total around three wins lower than they were prior to that deal.

As a result of the Snell signing, the Giants' projected win total jumped by two victories. Behind the juggernaut Dodgers, the NL West looks mighty competitive, with three teams trading at nearly identical win totals.
Just before that, the San Diego Padres' total moved up by around two wins, as well, thanks to the Dylan Cease trade.
Staying in the NL West, there are plenty of other Dodgers-related bets to get involved in before the season begins, as we outlined in our Shohei Ohtani odds for 2024.
The Atlanta Braves led the league in 2023 with 104 wins, and the Dodgers would have to tie that mark to go Over their total this year.
We are treading on truly historic ground with this 2024 Dodgers team, and this market reflects that. Not only do the Dodgers feature multiple MVP candidates, but they also roster the NL Rookie of the Year odds favorite in Yamamoto.
Atlanta is the only other team in baseball with a win total of at least 100, and that's a universal 101.5 number across all of our best live betting sites.
By listing each team in its 2023 finishing position, we see that the St. Louis Cardinals are projected to go from worst to first in the NL Central. St. Louis has made a couple of interesting acquisitions thus far in the offseason, and most expect the team to positively regress in general.
