Brewers vs. Rays Prediction & Picks: Game 4 World Series Odds for Tuesday, Oct. 27
Last Updated: October 27, 2026 10:33 AM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from sweeping the Tampa Bay Rays and winning their first-ever World Series title, and my Brewers vs. Rays prediction for Game 4 gives Milwaukee a strong chance to secure that championship tonight after another offensive explosion led by William Contreras. I'm backing a different young Brewers slugger, who's been red hot at the plate, to homer with the last of my MLB picks.
First pitch from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., is set for 8 p.m. ET (FOX), and the Brewers are a -142 betting favorite.
I look to build off of the momentum of six straight best-bet cashes, including Game 3’s +1.9 units of profit.

Brewers vs. Rays prediction & best bet
Brewers team total Over 3.5 (-120)
Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash promised an “all hands on deck” approach to Game 3, and he followed through by using six pitchers, putting additional pressure on his pitching staff ahead of Game 4.
Milwaukee’s combination of speed and plate discipline has frustrated opposing pitchers all playoffs. Its six stolen bases in Games 1 and 2 were the most by a team in the first two games of a World Series since the 1992 Braves (seven). And in Game 2 the Brewers lineup wore down Rays pitching after seeing 186 total pitches (an average of 23-plus pitches per inning) while fouling off 45.
📡 SBR Edge: Production up and down the lineup
In Game 3 Milwaukee became the first team in MLB history to have seven consecutive batters get a hit in a postseason game.
Best Brewers vs. Rays player prop bet
William Contreras Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (-104)
William Contreras entered Game 3 with a 1.135 OPS this postseason. That was the second best in a single playoff run among catchers (min. 40 PA), trailing only Gary Carter’s 1.202 mark in 1981.
Among 97 players who spent a minimum of 40% of games at catcher with at least 40 plate appearances, here is how Contreras’ numbers entering Game 3 ranked all-time in a single playoff run: .395 batting average (4th), .477 on-base percentage (3rd), .658 slugging percentage (3rd), 210 wRC+ (2nd).
Contreras went Over this projected total on hits alone in each of the first three games of this series, and cashed the Over in eight of the first 11 postseason games. He also has belted three home runs in these playoffs, which gives him great value to cash this wager with one swing of the bat.
Brewers vs. Rays home run prediction
Jackson Chourio to hit a home run (+450)
It's hard to build a matchup-based case for a home run pick when the teams could combine to use more than 10 pitchers in what looks like a bullpen-heavy game. So my confidence in Jackson Chourio homering comes from his playoff pedigree and what he's produced so far.
After the first two home games of this series, Chourio led MLB in career playoff RBIs before age 23, with 19. And his nine RBI entering the week were the third most by a Brewer in a single postseason run.
Chourio has six career postseason home runs and 20 RBIs through his first 23 playoff games, establishing himself as one of the game's most productive young postseason hitters.
