These teams have the two best records in the National League. While both are 5-5 in their last 10 games, they had the two highest winning percentages in MLB in August. 

On paper, the pitching matchup in the series opener looks like a mismatch. Phillies right-hander Taijuan Walker has outperformed his expected stats for most of the season, while Misiorowski has frequently overpowered hitters with a 13.40 K/9 in 43 2/3 innings.

However, Misiorowski has struggled in his last seven starts, posting a 6.18 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 27 ⅔ innings. The Brewers have also been cautious with his pitch count in three starts since returning from the IL, as he hasn’t thrown more than 86 pitches over that span. Misiorowski has given up four of his five home runs to left-handed batters this season. That could spell trouble with the likes of Harper and Kyle Schwarber looming.
