MLB Free Agency Next Team Odds: Where Will Tucker, Bichette Sign This Offseason?
The offseason is officially here, and I'm predicting where all of the big names will land when looking at the MLB free agency next team odds. Will Bo Bichette re-sign with the Blue Jays? Will Kyle Schwarber walk away from the Phillies? Let's dig in.

Bichette has been clear from the beginning of the offseason that he wants to remain in Toronto, while the organization has also said they will be in his market and want him to return. A reunion would almost be necessary after Bichette hit a three-run home run in Game 7 of the World Series that ultimately had the Jays two outs away from their first pennant in 32 years. The rest of the story lies entirely on the front office and what they're willing to offer the homegrown talent.
The Detroit Tigers (+800) would be next in line. While their current shortstop, Trey Sweeney, was solid defensively, he posted a subpar .202/.261/.313 slash line with 10 homers. Does Detroit have enough bullets in the chamber to outbid Toronto, though? My gut (and payroll) says no.

It's gotta be the Dodgers, right? They absolutely need an outfield bat to complete their super team after Andy Pages fell off a cliff in the postseason; their corner outfielders aren't anything to write home about, either. And we all know Los Angeles has deep enough pockets to make it happen.
I'll also be sprinkling a half-unit on the Phillies in this spot, too. Moving Nick Castellanos to left field to make room for Tucker makes too much sense for a team in their World Series window.

This might be the one guy from Japan the Dodgers can't or won't sign. I think the Red Sox might be the perfect landing spot for the big power hitter, especially after Alex Bregman opted out. Triston Casas will be returning from a significant injury, which also raises doubts. A small move might need to happen to open up some room for the Murakami, but the corner infielder/DH might see himself in grey and red come 2026. He'll fit right in on a team looking to make a splash.
