✅ Best Tigers vs. Guardians player prop pick

Here's what our MLB expert Shane Jackson wrote about why Daniel Schneemann is in store for a bad Game 2 today.

⬇️ Daniel Schneemann Under 0.5 hits (-106)

In my Tigers vs. Guardians player props for Game 1 (2-1, by the way), I reminded readers that these two teams led MLB in pinch-hit at-bats, with neither manager afraid to go to the bench.

We saw that on Tuesday, with Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt using three pinch-hitters and two pinch-runners. Daniel Schneemann was used as a runner, but I expect him to get the start against Casey Mize.

That’s what happened when these two teams met on Sept. 16, with Schneemann getting the start against Mize and going 0-for-3 before being withdrawn.

I’ll take the cheap -107 value on Schneemann going hitless again in a game where Vogt might be quicker to substitute him.

✅ Best Padres vs. Cubs player prop pick

Here's why our MLB expert Josh Goldberg is backing Fernando Tatis Jr. to have a big Game 2 against the Cubs.

⬆️ Fernando Tatis Jr. Over 1.5 hits/runs/RBIs (-110)

Tatis was quiet in Game 1, but I don't expect that to continue in a win-or-go-home situation.Tatis closed the season on a heater at the plate, hitting .321 with 15 runs, five home runs, and nine RBIs over the last 15 games. The superstar outfielder is a notorious postseason performer, with a career 1.231 OPS and six home runs in 14 contests.

A $10 bet on Tatis’ Over yields a profit of $9.09 at DraftKings, and the -110 odds have an implied probability of 52.38%.

✅ Best Red Sox vs. Yankees player prop pick

Here's why our MLB expert Mike Spector is fading Brayan Bello against the Yankees today in Game 2.

⬇️ Brayan Bello Under 14.5 outs recorded (-114)

This is Bello’s first career postseason start, and that will likely have Red Sox manager Alex Cora on pins and needles hoping he can navigate the early innings well.

Bello was not a huge innings eater for the club in September, as he recorded 15 or fewer outs in four of five starts. And in his career, the righty allows a .305 BAbip and a .758 OPS when facing batters for a third time. That suggests Cora will be eager to turn things over to a bullpen that ranked in the top 12 in xFIP and K-BB% over the final month of the regular season.

A $10 bet using these -114 odds from FanDuel would translate to an $8.77 profit, with an implied probability of 53.27%.

✅ Best Reds vs. Dodgers player prop pick

Here's why our MLB expert Josh Goldberg is fading Ben Rortvedt tonight in Game 2 against the Reds.

⬇️ Ben Rortvedt Under 0.5 H/R/RBIs (+113)

Rortvedt drove in a run while managing a hit over his three Game 1 at-bats. I’m still very comfortable fading a hitter who finished the season with a .152 batting average and a .445 OPS.

I was happy to take this player prop at plus money through DraftKings, as some of the other best sports betting sites are offering it as high as -105.

A $10 winning wager on Rortvedt’s Under would provide a profit of $11.30. The implied probability of the +113 odds is 46.95%.
