Reynaldo Lopez Under 4.5 strikeouts vs. Padres (-150)
Lopez isn't getting hitters to whiff or chase, which is a recipe for disaster when it comes to strikeout props ... unless you're on the Under. The Braves righty has one of the lowest K rates of his career this year, and it doesn't get any better in this specific matchup. San Diego is striking out at just a 16% rate against Lopez, owning a .309 xBA across 74 plate appearances against him. With that type of sample size, I'm not seeing Lopez pitching deep into the game tonight.
Framber Valdez Over 4.5 strikeouts vs. Cubs (-115)
While Valdez is also striking hitters out at a career-low rate this season, he absolutely loves to see the Cubs on the schedule. Across 35 at-bats against him, Valdez is punching out this Cubs lineup at a 34% rate while limiting them to a .235 xBA, giving me the confidence he'll get at least six innings in the books tonight. Seiya Suzuki (0-for-5, 2Ks), Ian Happ (0-for-5, 3 Ks), and Pete Crow-Armstrong (0-for-3, 1 K) will all be in tough tonight. Let's sweep the board one more time, shall we?
