Brewers vs. Dodgers Prediction & Picks: Game 4 NLCS Odds & Best Bets Today
Last Updated: October 15, 2026 8:27 AM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
The Milwaukee Brewers came from behind for a third straight game, putting themselves on the precipice of sweeping the two-time defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. My Brewers vs. Dodgers prediction for Game 4 eschews the full-game moneyline odds and expects Milwaukee's late-inning power surge from yesterday to result in an early high-scoring game tonight.
It’s a Dodgers slugger that I’m backing to go yard, but I round out my MLB picks with the Over on a William Contreras prop. First pitch from Dodger Stadium is set for 8 p.m. ET (FS1). The Dodgers are -160 betting favorites.

Brewers vs. Dodgers prediction & best bet
First Five Innings Over 3.5 (-140)
Tyler Glasnow has been one of MLB’s best pitchers since the start of 2021. In that span (among 127 pitchers with 500-plus IP), he ranks 19th in ERA, and in the top six in xERA, FIP, strikeout percentage, opponent’s average, and opponent’s OPS.
My issue with Glasnow being effective early is that he is coming his first start since Sept. 24, and was just the second Dodgers pitcher with five-plus walks and one or fewer hits allowed in a postseason game. Control problems could be his undoing against a Brewers lineup that led the Majors in average, walk rate, and on-base percentage. In addition, it could be a track meet for Milwaukee as Glasnow has allowed a 5.3% stolen base rate, the highest among pitchers with a minimum of 200 stolen base opportunities.
📡 SBR Edge: Avoiding the back end of the Brewers bullpen
Milwaukee's bullpen entered Game 3 with a 0.31 postseason ERA after allowing just three runs on 13 hits over 28.2 innings. Brewers relievers had thrown at least four innings in all six playoff games, which is why my first five innings wager focuses more on the starting pitching.
Best Brewers vs. Dodgers player prop bet
William Contreras Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (+120)
In Game 2 William Contreras belted his third home run of this postseason, which is tied for the most in a single playoff run in franchise history. It was also the fifth playoff home run of his career and left him two shy of tying the MLB record for the most in a single postseason by a catcher.
While I went in a different direction with my best home run pick, I love the value we’re getting on this H/R/RBI prop given Contreras’ propensity for clutch hitting. In Game 2, he became the fourth player with three separate game-tying or go-ahead RBI hits in a playoff game.
Contreras has improved his strikeout and whiff rates every year since 2022, and his ability to put the bat on the ball (along with the third-highest wRC+ among catchers since 2022, min. 1250 PA), makes this a confident wager.
Brewers vs. Dodgers home run prediction
Kyle Tucker to hit a home run (+760)
I didn’t want to put too much stock into Kyle Tucker’s career numbers against Dustin May, as the Brewers righty figures to only throw a couple of innings today. But Tucker is the only current Dodgers slugger with three hits off of May, and the only one with better than a 1.000 OPS (min. two at-bats).
Tucker hit his 10th career postseason home run (and first as a Dodger) in the first playoff game this season. And even though he had failed to homer over the final eight games of the regular season, he was still slashing an outstanding .344/.411/.703 with six home runs and 13 RBI over the previous 18 games at that point.
