🤑 Best NRFI Bets Today for Wednesday (June 24)

We swept the slate yesterday with close to three units in profit, and we're determined to fatten that wallet one more time as we enter hump day. We're targeting high strikeout numbers between the Red Sox vs. Rockies and Mariners vs. Pirates to get the job done. The formula continues to work for us this season, so let's bring those units home with our best NRFI bets today.

šŸ’° Best NRFI bets today (Wednesday, June 24)

Red Sox vs. Rockies NRFI (+100) - 3:10 p.m. ET

  • Ranger Suarez (2.94 ERA) vs. Kyle Freeland (7.36 ERA)
  • NRFI records: Red Sox (37-40) vs. Rockies (32-48)

We've got ourselves a nice little matinee on our hands, and who better to help us win our third straight than Suarez, who's been on an absolute tear this year? Not only is he having a career season, but he's striking out this Rockies team at a 33% clip, limiting the lineup to a .201 xBA and .242 xwOBA across 33 plate appearances. And for as bad as Freeland has been this year, he seemingly owns the Red Sox, who are hitting just .115 versus the lefty across 31 plate appearances. I'd price this closer to -120, so let's run with this value.

Mariners vs. Pirates NRFI (-145) - 6:40 p.m. ET

  • Bryan Woo (3.94 ERA) vs. Braxton Ashcraft (3.18 ERA)
  • NRFI records: Mariners (37-43) vs. Pirates (39-40)

It's Woo bump day again - and you know what that means, we have to feature him as part of our best NRFI bets today. The high strikeout numbers are here for the Mariners ace as well, punching out the Pirates at a 31% clip, including one of Pittsburgh's most dangerous hitters, Bryan Reynolds, who's 0-for-2 with two strikeouts. On the other side, we have a smaller sample size (eight plate appearances against), but Ashcraft has put together an incredible season, allowing just three earned runs across his last 11 innings pitched. Let's have a damn day.

Follow all of our MLB analysis and expert predictions for baseball season.

An NRFI (No Run First Inning) bet carries high variance, meaning success requires a disciplined, daily dive into the data. Before placing a wager, run through a strict checklist: analyze how the starting pitcher matches up against the top three hitters in the lineup, track underlying metrics like strikeout rates (K%) and expected batting averages (xBA), and review recent team-specific first-inning scoring trends. Because a single mistake or lucky hit can ruin the bet instantly, always use this daily routine to guide your wagers and scale your unit sizing accordingly to protect your bankroll.
