šŸ’° Best NRFI bets today (Monday, July 27)

Guardians vs. Reds NRFI (-110) - 7:10 p.m. ET

  • Slade Cecconi (4.60 ERA) vs. Chase Burns (2.42 ERA)
  • NRFI records: Guardians (64-43) vs. Reds (52-52)

You might think I'm playing this NRFI based on Burns' fantastic season, but it's truly Cecconi that put me over the top here. Across 53 plate appearances, the Reds own just a .217 xBA against him and are striking out at a 22% clip, including Elly De La Cruz (33% K rate) and Spencer Steer (22%). That'll work for us tonight. On the other side, Burns is coming off five shutout innings against the Mariners and has allowed just five earned runs across his last 16 innings. I'd price this one closer to -130 betting odds, so let's run with this type of value. Six simple outs, baby.

Yankees vs. White Sox NRFI (-115) - 7:40 p.m. ET

  • Max Fried (2.97 ERA) vs. Noah Schultz (6.04 ERA)
  • NRFI records: Yankees (48-57) vs. White Sox (48-56)

We're taking a tiny bit of a gamble here on Schultz, but we absolutely love what we're seeing from Fried this season. Limiting this White Sox lineup to a .233 xwOBA (.185 xBA), he should be able to get us the three outs we need relatively easily. Schultz, on the other hand, hasn't faced anyone in this Yankees lineup and is in dire need of a bounce-back performance after a subpar outing against Texas. Let's sweep the board with our best NRFI bets today.

šŸ’” How I'm betting NRFI picks today (July 27)

Follow all of our MLB analysis and expert predictions for baseball season.

A NRFI (No Run First Inning) bet carries high variance, meaning success requires a disciplined, daily dive into the data. Before placing a wager, run through a strict checklist: analyze how the starting pitcher matches up against the top three hitters in the lineup, track underlying metrics like strikeout rates (K%) and expected batting averages (xBA), and review recent team-specific first-inning scoring trends. Because a single mistake or lucky hit can ruin the bet instantly, always use this daily routine to guide your wagers and scale your unit sizing accordingly to protect your bankroll.
