We're diving into the best home run odds for today's MLB action and delivering our three favorite picks featuring some of the game's biggest stars.

We're hoping for the stars to shine on Saturday, as our best home run predictions today feature some of baseball's biggest names.

We start in Miami, as the Marlins will try to slow down Brent Rooker and the Athletics at 4:10 p.m. ET following yesterday's 6-1 defeat.

Of course, we can't offer our best home run predictions without at least looking at Shohei Ohtani, and we're seeing some great value on him to go yard in Atlanta. That game gets underway at 7:15 p.m. ET, and we've also offered our best Dodgers vs. Braves prediction.

Finally, we run it back with Kerry Carpenter after he went 3-for-5 yesterday but couldn't get in on the Tigers' home run party in Anaheim.

Rooker hasn't been quite as impressive through 33 games as he was last season while swatting 39 homers. However, there are multiple indicators that positive regression is coming.

The slugger's xBA and xSLG are better than last year, and his average exit velocity is only slightly lower at 91.2 mph vs. last year's 91.9, and it still ranks in the 74th percentile. Despite all that, Rooker has already clubbed eight home runs. We're betting on him to make it nine today.

Rooker and the Athletics face Max Meyer today, who's been an absolute demon to begin the season. He owns a stellar 3.18 ERA and is striking out 12.44 batters per nine. However, Meyer has been struggling with giving up homers throughout his career, and he's allowed a ton of hard contact this season.

Meyer's 93.6 average exit velocity is the worst mark among all starting pitchers, and his hard-hit percentage allowed is 17th-worst. It appears it'll be feast or famine for Meyer today, and I'm banking on the latter. I've made multiple bets on Athletics hitters to perform well today, but Rooker's home run would provide the largest profit.

⚾ Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers) to hit a home run vs. Braves ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bet on Ohtani to go Over his total bases prop yesterday, and I'm not sure there was a more unlucky hitter leaguewide.

Ohtani produced the two hardest-hit balls in the Dodgers vs. Braves game, and his last one came with an xBA of .910 and an exit velocity of 110.3 mph. If he gets a little more air under those, not even Eli White will track the balls down.

The Dodgers take on second-year right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach tonight, and he's been looking even better through six games following a brilliant rookie season. He owns a great 2.87 ERA, and his peripherals are all very solid.

However, it's the Dodgers. It's Ohtani. Even the best pitchers in the game are going to struggle with these guys.

For his part, Ohtani owns the second-highest home run projection of the day, so let's back him for the second straight day.

⚾ Kerry Carpenter (Tigers) to hit a home run vs. Angels ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm also running it back with Carpenter after betting on him to hit a homer in yesterday's game. Clearly, the process was good: Carpenter went 3-for-5, and the Tigers hit five home runs. Unfortunately, I would have preferred for him to go just 1-for-5 and join the party.

No matter, because he's going to hit one today and all will be forgiven. Carpenter and the Tigers get to face a very washed-up Kyle Hendricks tonight, and he's allowing a whopping 1.57 home runs per nine innings through five starts. He also doesn't strike anyone out and is walking a ton of batters for the first time in his career.

And if it's Riley Greene who once again goes yard twice, then I'll walk directly into a lake for both myself and anyone who tails.
