I backed Butler to be productive at the plate yesterday against the Houston Astros, and he proceeded to go 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. What a guy.

However, I'm not giving up on Butler that easily, and on top of betting on him to go Over his total bases prop today, I think the outfielder's home run prop profiles as one of the strongest of the day.

The rest of Butler's batted-ball data this season doesn't look as good as it did last year, but he is hitting the ball harder than ever before. That's a good sign against Jose Berrios, who simply isn't good at this stage of his career.

Berrios' Statcast page is as blue as his team's logo, and he continues to allow home runs at a very high rate. Additionally, despite already owning a fairly bad ERA, Berrios' peripherals suggest he's due for further regression.

I also like Butler's teammate, Rooker in this market today, too. In fact, a number of Athletics hitters profile as strong bets today. You could make an argument for Tyler Soderstrom and Shea Langeliers, as well. Bettors at BetMGM seem to agree, as Rooker is one of the five most-bet home run props there today based on tickets.
