With just four games on the Thursday MLB docket, my best home run predictions today had to sift through a list missing some of baseball's biggest names to highlight four sluggers, most notably Miami's Kyle Stowers.

Stowers has taken the league by storm with 25 dingers in his first full campaign. The former Baltimore Orioles prospect has the Marlins eyeing a .500 record in August, and I'm hoping he can increase his home run total tonight.

My home run bets today also feature Oneil Cruz, Cal Raleigh, and Brent Rooker. If each of these power-hitters go yard, a $10 wager on this four-leg parlay would pay out over $3,000 at the best sports betting sites.

It's been hard to find a reason to get excited about Miami in recent years, especially with Sandy Alcantara's decline. However, Stowers has been that beacon of hope for the Marlins, as his 4.0 WAR ranks 17th among active players. He's slashing .294/.371/.564 with a club-leading 25 home runs.

Stowers has cashed this prop twice in his last six games, most notably with an electric grand slam to spark Miami's 13-12 comeback win over the New York Yankees. He hit two moon shots in the series, and after going homerless in three games against Houston, I'm backing him to get hot again tonight.

The reigning National League Player of the Month (.364 average, 10 home runs in July) has a favorable pitching matchup in the series opener against Atlanta.

Carlos Carrasco has allowed just eight home runs on the year, which appears impressive until you realize he's thrown just 38 innings with the Yankees and Braves. Stowers' splits are especially solid against right-handers on the road, so this could be bad news for the 38-year-old starter.

Stowers is +390 to hit a dinger tonight at the best sports betting apps, implying a 20.41% probability he leaves the park in the divisional duel. Considering he's hit a home run in 17.59% of his appearances this season, I believe this is a worthy flier to take, as a $10 wager pays out $39 if the Miami star tallies No. 26.
