MLB sluggers have one more day to add to their August totals, and my best home run predictions today are centered around New York Mets slugger Juan Soto, who has faced today’s opposing pitcher more than any of his teammates.

My MLB picks also back Giancarlo Stanton, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Mookie Betts to go yard. If Soto, Stanton, Crow-Armstrong, and Betts all homer, the four-leg $10 parlay will net over $3,100 in profits.

Here is my favorite MLB home run bet today and analysis of why it leads my MLB home run predictions.

⚾ Juan Soto (Mets) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Mets began the weekend with an offensive explosion against the Miami Marlins. New York tied a season-high with 19 runs and set new franchise records for runs in a home game and runs scored in the first two innings (12).

Soto was a big part of that offensive success, and he has seven hits in his last seven at-bats with runners in scoring position, while adding two more home runs in Saturday's loss.

Soto has had 40 at-bats against Marlins righty Sandy Alcantara, more than any Mets slugger, homering twice in that span.

This is not the same vintage Alcantara that Soto most often faced in his time with the Washington Nationals. The righty has pitched to an 8.03 ERA and .305 OBA in 11 road starts. His 1.38 HR/9 rate on the road is much worse than his 0.92 HR/9 rate at home, which makes Soto’s +340 home run odds appealing.
