After falling short the last few days with my dinger picks, it's time to call in the big guns - such as Brent Rooker - with my best home run predictions today.

Rooker's power is leaving a lot to be desired lately, but the Athletics' Home Run Derby representative has fantastic numbers against tonight's starter for the Angels. My home run bets today are also relying on Byron Buxton, Shohei Ohtani, and Jose Ramirez to get us back on track.

While Wikipedia claims Arte Moreno is the principal owner of the Los Angeles Angels, we know it's really Brent Rooker. The Athletics' star is hitting .328 with 43 hits - 15 of which are home runs - in 36 career games against the Halos. Three of his 24 home runs this season came against the Angels, as well.

Even though Rooker isn't lighting it up right now, going yard at just a 10% clip over his last 10 outings, I have confidence he can find his power stroke tonight. He's clubbed a pair of dingers to raise his career average to .357 against Los Angeles' starter tonight, Tyler Anderson. The latter has also allowed opponents to take him deep in his last six starts, surrendering 11 moon shots over that span.

Despite his recent struggles in the power department, the best sports betting sites still list Rooker at +265 to hit a home run tonight due to the dominance he's displayed against Anderson historically.
