Los Angeles' unicorn continued to punish his old team on Tuesday night. While the Angels came away with the last laugh, having taken two in a row from the Dodgers, it wasn't without a valiant effort from their former superstar. Ohtani has now homered in four straight games, and he kicks off my home run bets today.

The Dodgers are slumping right now, posting a 4-6 clip over their last 10 games. Los Angeles' offense has gone cold, but Ohtani is trending in the opposite direction. The superstar slugger has clubbed homers in four consecutive contests and in five of his previous six matchups.

His scorching form should be enough to convince you to take a flier, right? If not, allow me to persuade you further.

Tonight's starter for the hosts, Kyle Hendricks, has been taken deep 19 times this season. He's allowed at least one home run at a 70% clip over his last 10 starts, including four of five recently. While Hendricks has yet to face Ohtani head-to-head, he's got a woeful 5.53 career ERA in eight starts against the Dodgers.
